Even though it was a dry when we came it was still stunning!

I've seen amazing falls from South America, Hawaii, and Niagara and Shoshone holds its own!

It's almost mind-boggling how this place just comes out of nowhere farm land. Nice town to stay in as well. We will come back when the falls are actually flowing but regardless it's a beautiful park! $5 entry fee is worth it.

The Army Core of Engineers turned off the water, and was dry. It was still quite a sight. Hiking near the lake was fun. We had a dog so you had to go to the left. Good times.

Went back in May for a quick stop while on a road trip, and what a surprisingly marvelous experience it turned out to be!! The falls are truly unbelievably beautiful.

Gorgeous rock formations and some very nice and easily accessible viewing platforms. The Snake River is very wide and looks so beautiful with its rich greenish color. Some of the rock formations are so white and look so pretty in contrast with the river. It is very relaxing to be there.

This park was so nice! So much shade, a nice little stream, some benches, and it's so big! There is a restroom and souvenirs and dogs are allowed on leash. There are walking paths and bike paths! So much fun! And the falls are gorgeous!!!

It was the 'low season', but still powerful and well worth the visit. No fees, camping areas, and picnic tables to include porta potties. A fun side stop.

An absolutely gorgeous view of the falls and canyon. Even when the water is really low, the rocks of the falls are still fascinating

A complete surprise in the canyon. We stayed in Twin Falls, ID we were talking to some locals about how nice the town was and they made the suggestion to go see the twin falls at Shoshone Falls Park. The next morning before we left town we went and we were so glad that we did! This is a beautiful place and if you're in the area, I highly recommend to visit.
It was a five dollar per car entry fee, to drive into the canyon to go to the park, viewing area and lake entry and they have a pool there as well.
We had Jolie Fleur so I could walk her in the beautiful green grass with many trees for shade. There were tables for families. Parking was good but with the amount of people coming into park, they could use more spots. The viewing areas were very well done. We were both amazed with the cleanliness of the park. Note, the drive into the canyon is narrow & winding so be prepared, but it is doable.
What I have learned, take time to see the local beauty as you pass through a town or area. You'll be richer for it.

$5 gets you into both the lake and falls...beautiful scenery! Restrooms and even a gift shop at the falls. Not many stairs to get good views of the falls, but good views even without the stairs.

Beautiful views of the canyon/gorge, with the peaceful sound of rushing water over the falls.

Shoshone falls is a must see attraction in Twin Falls city of Idaho. Also called "Niagara of West". About 5km from main city. It is on snake river canyon. Height is 212 feet (higher than Niagara) & width is 1000 feet. Flow is seasonal. Park is well maintained with few benches, lot of trees. Washroom facility available.
Vehicle entry fee is $ 5.
Virws are spectacular from view plateform.
Although less water falls in September, still a beautiful place to visit.

Lowest I've ever seen the water going over the falls. Gorgeous in a different way. Only one Porta-potty was available and there was a line from 3 large vans of people.

The falls were shut down. However you could see the beauty of terrain, the rocks and smaller water falls. Nice trails to wander.

What a phenomenal view! Multiple spots to view the falls, informational boards, bathrooms, and a small gift/snack shop right by the parking lot. $5 entrance fee for cars with a decent amount of parking. An absolute must stop if you're traveling through Twin Falls!

I really like going to Shoshone Falls. There is just enough parking to keep people moving through the park and guides to direct you to whichever area has openings. People visiting have been courteous and only stand at the rails and lookouts long enough to take in the beauty and snap a few pictures. Restroom 🚻 are available and were clean and there is a snack shop for munchies. Definitely worth the trip when the falls are flowing well.

Spectacular view! What a gem of a park. We were only there for a short period of time, but I was very jealous of the locals! They have a beautiful and natural wonder right in their backyard.

Beautiful, walkable park with multiple waterfalls resulting from the dam. Can be crowded at times as it’s a popular spot. We got free admission because I am handicapped (and have a handicapped parking placard) which was a surprising perk! Dog friendly and lots of spots to sit or lean and take a break.

This is a beautiful park with spectacular views. The little walk-up gift shop was unique because everything is behind the counter and they bring out things for you to see close up. The restrooms have flush toilets though the facilities are dated. The grounds are beautifully kept. There is a lot of shade in the tree-area. It's well worth a visit when the falls have a good flow year.

So beautiful, definitely worth the drive!! So scenic and such a nice place to bring your picnic and sit amongst the trees with the falls in the background. Don’t forget to check the webcam before you come to see how much water is coming over the falls which depends on the time of year.. but no matter which time of year it’s still a wonderful sight to see.
