I had a great experience working with Mike, the owner of Belco Electric, on a recent EV charger install. Mike was generous enough to offer to come out and give a quote on the day I first called, which meant a lot. I was able to contact Mike with any questions in the lead-up, and the service on the day of my install was seamless (and from what I’ve seen in other reviews, this is par for the course!). Needed an electric panel upgrade for house (to 200 amps) and an electric car charger plug installed (14-50 NEMA). Michael responded to my phone call and promptly came over for estimate, scheduled job date, and completed everything on time and at quoted price, with professionalism. Would absolutely recommend.

After responding quickly & doing an efficient estimate, they arrived exactly when planned, did the work perfectly, cleaned up after themselves & advised us for planned future repairs & status of current repairs in a clear & understandable way. The first thing that impressed me, was that Mike answered the phone when I called. For some reason contractors these days aren't answering the phone or returning messages. When he came to do the quote, he was very thorough and explained how the process would work. Once they did the work they were prompt, and did very good work. I am pleased with work they performed. I will definitely use them again.

Mike came highly recommended to do service upgrade from 100Amp to 200Amp. He was professional and showed up ready to work at 8:30am with his two apprentices. My wife and I expected for the electric to be off all day but they were cleaned up and gone by 3pm. They set up all the appointments with NYSEG and the inspector. He explained and involved us from the start each step of the process. Job well done Mike, thank you for your Military Service too! We will definitely call him again when I want to rewire my garage.

Had a 220 dryer plug wired in, after discovering the previous home owner removed it, and the breaker. Mike and his team were very informative, arrived on time. Took time to explain things and answered any questions I had. Would definitely hire again. 5 stars.
