Home of what is quite possibly the BEST CHILI CHEESE DOG anywhere!

Family run business with absolutely phenomenal chili cheese dogs—the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to many Chicago hot dog joints. Barb uses only organic meat and veggies for her chili, and the difference is in the taste. She also has a way of toasting the bun which creates the perfect crunch with a warm, hearty meal like chili. Great selection of deli meats (Boar’s Head) and sandwiches and other prepared foods. Check out Barb’s homemade potato and macaroni salad and peanut butter chocolate bars. Amazing! You can’t go wrong here. They also have videos for rent and common grocery items for nearby campers in Linn Run State Park.

Great little general store with a deli counter. This place also sells a bunch of local items and the typical drinks and snacks. There is a freezer with local meats, and a few shelves have local baked goods. Plus other items - I see different things every time I stop.

This is a nice little store. Just stopped for some tea and juice but they had soda, snacks, hot food and eggs and milk. Employee was very friendly.

Great spot for a deli sandwich & a quick grocery pick up. Sandwich menu good. Snacks, eggs, bread, milk, canned goods, packaged salads, etc available for a quick grocery grab. We love they carry Boars Head brand cheeses and meats!

I love this place! Reminds me of a campground store. Super friendly staff and the food we got there was really good. I got the veggie sandwich. Its like a grilled cheese w veggies. Was so good! Lots of melted cheese. Will definitely be returning!

I stop here everytime I visit Linn Run State Park. Friendly little country store! My dog is obsessed with their homemade peanut butter dog treats (which I've tasted and are, in fact, awesome!) And I always get a delicious Boar's Head sandwich and salt stix for the road! Always a pleasant experience here and prices are good! Stopping at Barb's is always one of the highlights of my day when in the area 🙂

Very nice people and good subs with boars head meat. A shame he had to sell. Let's hope the new owner is as good. Think he will.

We had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches we ever ate. And soup which I ate the potato chowder which was really good. It was not a nice little stop on her way up the mountain.

Absolutely the best place to get fresh home cooked soups, chili, subs etc. Simply the best Italian sub I've ever had. Store also supplies food fer camping and hiking. Barb and Pat are wonderful people. Always a pleasure to eat here!

Great little shop outside of Linn Run Park. They have a lot to offer including sandwiches, hoagies, sweet and a lot more. It's definitely worth a stop!

It's a small cabin in the woods with the best sandwiches. When family visits from out of town I always bring them to this quaint shop. What a great experience!

This place makes great sandwiches. The employees are nice and they'll bring the food outside to you so that you can start your car or hang out in the sun. Love this place

So for the past year my Husband has been talking about this little store in Ligoner (had NO clue of the name) and about "the best sub/sandwich you will ever have in your life!" So we're on our way to Lowes in Latrobe coming from Davidsville and the next thing you know I'm on a back country road in the middle of nowhere and he's going on and on and on about "the best sub I will ever have in my life" Which I'm sure it's a good sub..but not "life changing" as he's claiming it to be! So finally we get there and it's a cute, clean little country store and the lady working the counter is very sweet we place our order,which didn't take long to get at all! I ordered the ham and he ordered an Italian and I have to be honest..It truly was the best sub I ever had in my life!! Yes, it's a life changing sub! It was amazing! It had an excellent balance of bread,meat,cheese,vegetables,pickles,dressed lettuce(you can get it customized)..my biggest issue with it is that I didn't get a bigger one to take home and eat later! It truly was the best sub I ever had in my life!!! Nothing compares!! He was right..this sub is life changing and you'll probably NEVER have a better sub! Finally for once my Husband was right!..lol Already making plans to go get another life changing sub!!😂

Friendly and convenient. Nice place to stock up for a hike in Lynn Run, or if you forget to pick up a staple at the grocery store. Love the peanut butter bars!

Wonderful people at our local country store. The food being excellent is just the icing on the cake. Italian sub and chili was delicious

Italian hoagie and roast beef with horsey sauce were both killer! Better than any place around Plum.

Just a wonderful little out of the way store! They make some of the best hoagies you would ever want to eat!
