Crumpets Tea Shop

Visited small town Ligonier and stopped in here with the ladies of the family, 3 generations, to enjoy afternoon tea and a sweet treat. The shop has a HUGE selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. There are 4 tables at the back of the shop to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and a crumpet. There are both sweet and savory crumpets. The server also made the tea and the crumpets. She was so sweet, extremely personable and knowledgeable about the teas! The tea is good for at least 2 cups. She comes around with the kettle to fill up your tea cup for additional cups. The crumpets tasted amazing! I can’t wait to return and try another!

What a fantastic tea shop with an amazing calm and refreshing ambiance. Beautiful dresses for sale and other unique items such as cork screw purses and wallets. Delicious marmalade jam that I picked up. Also fantastic herbal teas and wow the variety is endless.
A great place to read a book, enjoy some tea and a crumpet or just shop the store area and have some jam and tea at home.

~Cute tea shop with really good crumpets and large selection on loose leaf teas. The atmosphere was amazing and cozy. The staff are very helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be coming back whenever we can.
~The prices are very reasonable and I found tea blends I haven't seen yet. There is a large amount of tea of all types to choose from along with teaware, bags, soaps, jewlery, and some snacks.
~For our crumpets we got the chocolate ricotta with pecans and caramel along with the rosemary goat cheese with dates and honey drizzle. The chocolate one was just the right amount of chocolatey but not overly sweet. The rosemary one was well balanced and also not too sweet. We got a pot of the raspberry patch herbal tea which was a really good flavor ride with each cup the longer it was steeping.

This is my second trip to Crumpets and it did not disappoint. The tea selection is vast and the food selection is wonderful. I had white coconut tea, a chicken salad savory crumpet and a pumpkin cream cheese with oat sweet crumpet. While the crumpets don't look like a lot they are very filling. Great for an afternoon tea. Don't forget to make a reservation if you have a bigger party. If you can't stay for tea stop in for some loose tea to take home.

This is always one of my stops when I go to Ligonier. They have a wonderful selection of tea and their crumpets are my favorite around. They have a nice selection of sweet and savory toppings so you are sure to find something delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for a nice cup of afternoon tea and a snack for a little pick me up while shopping. I definitely recommend this place.

We were in PA for a wedding and stumbled across Crumpets. My daughter and I love tea rooms and find one every place we travel to. The crumpets were spectacular. The almond ricotta and orange marmalade crumpet was delicious. Buffalo chicken was also amazing. The teas were fantastic and the variety was vast. Clearly by my photo, I had a difficult narrowing down my favorites. Would highly recommend this tea room and we would definitely visit again!

Great experience again this year. This is our second trip in consecutive years to Ligonier and Crumpets. My wife is the tea drinker and she loves all the selections and bought several teas to take home. We also had a few crumpets which were delicious. I had a French press coffee which hit the spot! Would highly recommend Crumpets Tea Shop.

I was invited to this quitue lil place on New Years afternoon and what a wonderful experience it was...not only charming but delicious..Nancy the owner was especially nice and charming too...sge told us about alot of the teas bit invited us to try as many as we would like(which we certainly did and enjoyed.) Then onto the Crumpets . The hard part was to choose which ones we wanted to try from the many selections..The Chicken salad was delicious..and the Honey.Almond one was ooh lala !!!! We all had a marvelous lunch....Whenever you are in Ligonier,BE SURE TO MAKE SPECIAL TIME TO STOP AT THE CRUMPETS TEA SHOP FOR THIS UNIQUE FUN EXPERIENCE....YOU WON'T BE SORRY.....WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.......

I took my friend here for her birthday and honestly had the most amazing time. Such a cute store in an amazing area. The person running it at the time was very sweet and helpful.

GREAT CRUMPETS and TEA!!! We love the selection and quality of the food and tea. Atmosphere is a little bland and the chairs are falling apart. Service is nice.

I love this tea shop. Virginia the owner is phenomenal. She goes out of her way to make sure her customers are satisfied. Great location for showers or just to go with a friend. My favorite is the Lady Grey blend she has.

Such a lovely place in the heart of Ligonier. I loved their crumpets and tea.

If I said everything I wanted to say, this review would be very long so I'll keep it short. If your in the area, (or not) and want to relax, forget about a bad day, slow down for a moment, want to enjoy some excellent tea and some excellent "crumpets" that pair with tea well, then Crumpets is the perfect place. They also off coffee. The French press coffee is excellent! Beautiful Ligonier is the perfect location for this place as well. Located in the scenic Laurel Highlands. If you've been to the town, then you know why. If not, you must visit and while you are visiting other shops and just enjoying the atmosphere of this beautiful town, stop at Crumpets for a great experience!

There aren't many places in the area to get amazing loose leaf tea, and even fewer that are this amazing. There are so so many options. Black. Green, chai, herbal... all of your hearts desires. Persephone's blend is one of my all time favorite!!! Best of all, you're supporting a local business!!!

Visited for a day trip and we loved it. Owner was lovely, crumpets and tea were both delicious. Absolutely worth a visit!

Absolutely amazing. Their tea and crumpets are fantastic. They have a huge selection or herbals, green, black, white, and anything else you could imagine. Whether you want a nice little breakfast or a new way to stock your cabinets, Crumpets is the place to go.

This place is wonderful ,food is very delicious and tea's are exceptional.
