Until Plata Coffee, ABQ had no place to really sit and enjoy tea, food, and a pleasant conversation with a friend or spouse. Plata has really achieved this by locating in the Sawmill Market. The coffee and tea is excellent. The staff is warm, friendly, light-hearted, quick to help, and fun! And being in the Sawmill, there is a wide variety of foods from which to choose...ample to serve everyone's tastes...and plenty of room to find a quiet corner for a pleasant visit. Highest recommendation.

Amazing! Great vibes, nice people and amazing coffee! Also best hot chocolate I've ever had! Not too hot, not too sweet. Absolutely perfect!

Amanda's artwork on the cardimum white chocolate mocha. Also enjoyed the pumpkin brulee brevé latte with equally beautiful artwork on top.

Cheers to coffee drinkers of the world!

Delicious!

I got a midday coffee. That's always exciting! But this was exceptionally good. Thank you so much Plata Coffee.

Baristas that know their stuff! They use beans from local NM roasters which is a treat as a traveller. I had the fortune of stopping by during a lull and talked with them about beans and roasts for a good ten minutes! I heard great things about their lattes but went for the pour over with their Ethiopian bean and was not disappointed. Do yourself a favor and get your morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up from this amazing establishment inside the Sawmill. When your barista can tell you the day your beans were roasted, the tasting notes, and vibe with you about all things coffee, you know you went to the right place!

This place is so amazing, the displays are well done, the space looks amazing and the drinks are very good. I visited from Phoenix Arizona and I can’t wait to come back during fall time for their pumpkin spice latte. Sooo good I had dreams about that cup of coffee. The owners are wholesome, amazing people and the staff as well. How could you not like this place?

Smells great. As in the stand manages to smell like a coffee perfumery EVEN within a big open indoor market (food court.) Fantastic and friendly service - they made a fantastic Columbia med/dark Aeropress for me.

Located on the far east wall of the market, next to a patisserie (whoops, yeah, now you're REALLY tempted, aren't ya!)

The service here is exceptional! I don’t often post about good service because, let’s be honest, there’s not a lot of that around here...

The crew of two worked efficiently, doing prep work to ensure the barista didn’t get behind, got orders out in a VERY timely manner and every drink was perfected. Having experience as a barista in a past life I appreciate the attention to detail tremendously.

Keep up the phenomenal work, Plata!

Top tier coffee & tea served up by friendly folks. They've been around for a while (previously in a different location) and are very community minded and always deliver a good experience that's also low key and accessible. Definitely 5/5 every time.

Plata Coffee @ Sawmill Market is an excellent place for an iced latte... with oat milk might I add. Just the right taste of a bold coffee flavor and not too milky. Will definitely stop by there again.

The campfire mocha is delicious! Great atmosphere and good coffee. A little pricier than other comparable places in town for lattes, but great tastes. There’s some wonderful breakfast places in building also.

Amazing drinks. I’ve had gingerbread latte and mocha latte, both were 5 stars. Will return and try other drinks enthusiastically
