I adopted a stray this week. The process was effortless with most of it done over the phone. The staff was exceptional. I had to wait a couple weeks to pick my little puppy up per the schedule of surgery. We have been home now for almost 4 days. My little guy is just fabulous. I have had several dogs from shelters in the past. They always have some issues whether it be men with hats, loud noise, etc. this one does not, which says a lot of the care from the shelter. Twin Falls should be very proud and lucky to have such a caring facility for our fuzzy friends.

I got my Lilly there when she was about 2 years old they told me when I got her 6 years ago on a black special for 20 dollars. She's been the best thing to happen to our lives. She prevented a snake biting my son when we lived down in Texas there for 10 months. She killed the snake. And was perfectly fine after. No bites on her at ALL. She's my son's guardian angel. If she don't like you, you don't get near him. She's 8 years old now and still feisty as ever. My son calls her mama's as a nickname but I call her minlilly. Thank you again for this masterpiece of an angel. And the big guy is my baby boy I got from you at 10 weeks old 7 years ago. I named him Jesse James. He chirps when he meows it is the sweetest thing I have ever had the privilege of hearing in my life. And he's such a super sweetheart. At 10 weeks he was really big for his size, and everyone kept on passing him over for tiny cute fluff buts, their loss my biggest gain. He is now 18 lbs of solid muscle, NOT an once of fat. Thank you for helping me find my forever family members. As that's what they are.

I found my absolute best friend there. He's a Black Labrador and is likely the best dog I've ever had.
Whatever I paid in adoption fees is the smallest fraction of what he's worth to me. It's amazing what other people discard.

Amazing animal shelter. I’ve gotten all 3 of my fur babies there and they were spoiled rotten during their stay. It is also awesome that they spay all their animals and have a animal food pantry for people in need. If you can be sure to adopt and don’t shop. Below is Odin, Twinkie, and Loki all adopted from here.

We got our dog Takota aka (Casanova) from here and he’s the best and the staff are very helpful and friendly… adopt. don’t shop!

We adopted our dog from Twin Falls Animal Shelter in June. We love her so much! The lady in the back was so kind and told us what she knew about the different dogs so we could choose which ones to take for a walk. I knew instantly that I wanted Kota, who we've renamed Be, but she was ill that first day so we had to wait for her to get better and get spayed. When they called to tell us we could adopt her, the lady was so good to answer my questions and help us feel prepared. When we picked her up, things went smoothly with all the staff being very kind. We have since been working on training our Be and she has come a long way. My daughter, who was terrified of dogs is like a new person now. She's gained lots of confidence and enjoys our dog as much as the rest of us!

This place is amazing. The staff is very helpful. I adopted my dog from here. I have read some of the low star reviews. If you are going to leave a bad review on a website; at least have the decency to check your spelling and grammar before leaving your comments for public review. You look foolish!

We adopted our pup last summer and were extremely pleased with the staff and process. We also have been sponsoring dogs there for 12 years because of the professional caring staff, cleanliness, friendliness and dedication they show. Highly recommend this shelter !!!

We have three kids three and under, the staff was amazing and patient as our littles ran around the facility. We came in after talking on the phone with one of the staff members. We asked if there were dogs that were ready for a home that same day as we don’t live in the area. She told us about a few dogs but one in particular made us make the 45 minute drive to go meet. Brutis has been a frequent flyer in the animal shelter and we have no idea why. He is the best tempered and is very loved at the shelter. The staff tested him with a smaller dog and a cat to make sure he would get along well with our other fur babies. The staff were incredibly friendly while we were there. They are extremely busy all the time and it was hard to get help initially but once it was our turn we got their undivided attention. We are so in love with our new pup would definitely recommend rescuing from this facility.

We had such a wonderful experience adopting our dog! It was so busy the day that we were there but the staff was so great and helped us find the perfect dog for our children and family! Our new family member is such a beautiful fit. Thank you so much for all that you do to help these animals! ♥

Love this place! The staff is so helpful and so kind. And the dog trainer, Brittney I think her name was, is amazing! She really helped us pick out the best dog for my son and I. I will forever recommend them to anyone.

Thinking about adopting a dog. The staff are caring,and very helpful. I found what I hope to make a forever home for. Did the paperwork and now I am praying that it works out. I was assured that if the one I am hoping for doesn't work out they will help me to find one just right for the dog and me. How hopeful is that? Even my granddaughter told me as we said goodbye I hope you get him Grandma. So sweet! She said it was fun to be able to pet the dogs and cats...we made a memory. Thank You

My dog had gotten out of our backyard because of a malfunction on our gate lock so the wind had actually blown it open and my dog had gotten out. He is a small dog and after searching for a couple hours around my local neighborhood, I had finally decided to go take a look at the animal shelter. I wasn't too sure yet because it hadn't been a day yet. However I had checked with the front desk women at the animal shelter and they offered that I go take a look in the back. I walked around the back of the shelter where they keep the dogs in their kennels, and I didn't see him. I walked back up to the counter to file a report and it was then when I had shown the staff a picture and they were very quick to recognize my dog and told me that he was there. I was taken to the back and sure enough he had come back from the outside portion of the kennel to the inside. The staff at the shelter do recognize the animals that come in and out of the shelter. Yes this is my first experience but from hearing the chats while waiting they had been keeping tabs on all of the animals that were in the shelter.

IF YOU DO SEE A DOG ON THE ROAD, PLEASE PICK THEM UP AND BRING THEM TO THE SHELTER IF THEY ARE TAG-LESS. THE OWNERS WILL FIND THEM AND IT HELPS A LOT OF FOLKS THAT LOVE THEIR ANIMALS.

He will always wear his collar 24/7 from now on but accidents happen and it helps a lot of people find their missing animals if you go the extra step and not let a dog wonder astray around town.

I adopted my dogs Burt and Ernie from here, and everyone was so friendly! They are seriously the best dogs, and fit our family perfect. Im so happy that these animals have a wonderful place to stay before they go to their forever homes.

I got my little fur baby named Sylvester here, he is the best cat ever! Although we can't find him.😭😭😭. If youare looking for a fur baby I would definitely recommend . I will be seeing you soon I am coming to look at your pups!

There are two commercials that are very disturbing to me. one is the St Jude's commercial, I for one get choked up when I see these children suffer from a form of cancer. And the other is animal cruelty, I cry every time I see these, what kind of sick person would treat these animals this way. To me they are not human but animals themselves. They should be treated the same exact way. To me animals are just as human as we ALL are. If could I would give every cent to these foundations

Great experience in adopting our kitten! Our kitten was in a clean kennel. Had good&water, and was physically clean. Staff was friendly and helpful; and we not only had a Senior-no adoption fee, but were given a Purina bag of kitten chow.

We got two of our fur babies from the humane society. Both have been wonderful. A friend of ours got a kitten that ended up having a upper respiratory infection. She called and they helped get him healthy. They went above and beyond :)

I lost my cat Craig who ended up being here. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. I was crying/stressed and they comforted me so well! They told me their number one goal is to get pets back to their owners, and if that’s not possible they find good homes for the animals that come in. I thought that was really awesome ❤

I am new to the area, I had bumped into a family that had a very sick litter of puppies and I happen to be able to rescue one of them meanwhile working on rescuing myself and my kiddo. I called the shelter and cried and begged for them to please help me because I have never experienced ringworm before and this was a very young five week old sick puppy they have been nothing but helpful I heard bad things about them putting animals down and they have been honest upfront and kind and loving to this baby and I couldn’t be any more grateful any more prouder any more happy thank you Twin Falls animal shelter!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
