Old town Albuquerque is a great place to shop and find authentic products. It’s has many shops to explore with very beautiful art, clothing, jewelry, cafe, and ice cream shops. Prices are reasonable. Depending on day and time you go can be crowded. Beautiful site to see. Pay to park. Lots of walking. Recommend you wear a good pair of comfortable shoes.

Old Town Square was an interesting place and encourage you to visit when you are in the Albuquerque area. I was there to check out a few shops for souvenirs to take home and along the way, stopped in the square to admire the foliage and leaves that fell creating what I thought to be a picturesque moment. We strolled around and visited a few shops and outside vendors. Recommend for everyone - there is something worth checking out.

We love our annual holiday walk through Old Town Plaza. It's festive and has all the NM vibes you've been wanting! It's not just a must for out of owners - the locals, like us, love it too!

Cool stores. Old mission, lots of cool jewelry. A few bars for a drink and some good food options. Nice square in the center to chill out in. Cheap parking 1.00 for 30 minutes. Free parking close by. Restrooms on the far west side.

Old Town Albuquerque is a cultural and historical treasure that captures the essence of New Mexico's rich heritage. My visit to this charming district left me enchanted and inspired by the fusion of history, art, and local flavors.

The moment I entered Old Town, I felt transported back in time. The architecture, with its adobe buildings, intricate ironwork, and wooden balconies, creates an authentic and rustic atmosphere. It's as if the past and present coexist harmoniously, inviting you to explore the area's historical roots.

The heart of Old Town, the Plaza, is a bustling hub of activity. It's surrounded by shops, galleries, restaurants, and historic landmarks. Strolling through the Plaza, I had the chance to admire the craftsmanship of local artisans, from beautiful jewelry to traditional pottery and artwork that beautifully reflects the cultural diversity of New Mexico.

The San Felipe de Neri Church, with its striking twin bell towers, is a centerpiece of Old Town and adds to the area's historical significance. Inside, the church is a serene space that offers a quiet respite from the vibrant streets outside.

Cuisine in Old Town is a delightful blend of traditional New Mexican and Southwestern flavors. I couldn't resist the temptation to savor dishes like green chile stew and enchiladas, which offered a delicious taste of the region.

Perhaps what I appreciated most about Old Town was its people. The residents and shopkeepers are warm, welcoming, and proud of their heritage. They readily share stories and insights about the history of the area, adding a personal touch to the visitor experience.

In summary, Old Town Albuquerque is a captivating destination that immerses you in the cultural tapestry of New Mexico. Whether you're interested in history, art, or simply enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, Old Town offers a memorable and enriching experience. It's a place where the past comes to life, and where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the Land of Enchantment.

Great spot for all Tourists! They have live music and great shops. They have local vendors and a mesmerizing scenery!
Parking lot is small and there is a fee to pay. You can also drive through the place if you dont want to get down. They have a local high-end steakhouse, pizza place, ice cream, and can't miss out on this really antique church!

Annual tradition for our family. Christmas Eve after dinner, we take our thermos of Mexican hot chocolate to see all the luminaries. Absolutely beautiful and great Christmas choir

Looked through the shops. Everyone was nice. We were looking for a copper bracelet for our son since he said I lost his; look in your dressers boy; anyway, texted him pictures and found what he liked. Shop owners even pointed us in directions if we couldn't find one in their shop.

It's a nice place to take pictures for Christmas season with beautiful decorations and a church ⛪. There is also good gift shops to buy presents. As you can see in the picture, it has so many space to sit and hangout too. I haven't tried any of the restaurants there yet. We tried candy shop which has so many choices for candies and chocolates. Definitely recommend for simple but beautiful family pictures there!!!

Figuring out the parking here is a little tricky, initially we drove past either direction a couple times. But once we got into this adorable little town area. It was super cool to walk around. Plenty of trendy touristy things, but also felt like it had a reasonable amount of the old town vibe still. we happened on it during the day of a car show which was super fun. A whole bunch of wineries to wine taste.

What a wonderful day to stroll around the Old Town Plaza. It's the middle of June and the weather is fantastic. Lots of shops. More reasonably priced then Santa Fe. Lots of coffee shops. Bought a lot of gifts!

It's like going back in time. Beautiful old church in the middle of the Plaza. Amazing stores with items for the whole family. Native American jewelry vendors on the Eastside of the Plaza, We purchased several items from them. We bought beautiful Mexican blankets and knives for our four adult Son's with their names engraved on them. Also make sure and visit The Breaking Bad Store, it's amazing and even have a small museum inside.

More stores than you can shake a walking stick at. Yes, cliche, but succinct. Everything is quite pricey, but you just might find that something special. We found exactly what we were looking for, and we hope you will too. Very relaxing and reminiscent stroll through Old Town as we lived here from 1998-2001 while serving in the army.

Absolutely gorgeous and expansive. I needed more than a day to see it all. Where to begin? The plaza had such a nice vibe; everyone was friendly and genuinely appreciative of the local treasures. The Old Town Olive store was one of my faves. The Breaking Bad Museum was unexpected and fun. I almost forgot---we saw a wedding! The whole thing from the wedding processional to "You may kiss the bride!". It was so romantic. There's just too much to list. It's definitely a "must see" when in ABQ.

Great place to shop ,eat, drink, and take pictures. It has an old Catholic church to visit as well as bars , brewery. Nice place to take visitors from out of town for the old Town experience. After thus or instead of this try uptown shopping as well for modern shopping experience.
