One of the hard things about moving is finding new people/professionals to work with. I have been a client of Emina's (the owner) for more than 10 years and was thrilled when she opened The Color Lounge closer to my home! I took for granted how well she knew how to cut and color my hair - because she made it look effortless. After 3 tries in my new town, I think - maybe - I've found a good fit. Really miss the wonderful people at the Salon - the whole staff is terrific, and really good at what they do. If Emina wasn't available, I could always rely on CiCi or one of the other stylists. I miss my Lounge!

Emina, my master stylist and colorist, has been my go-to professional for over 30 years. I first discovered her incredible talent while she was based in Brooklyn, and when she made the move to Connecticut, I didn't hesitate to follow her.

Emina's move from Brooklyn to Connecticut was a testament to her loyal clientele, including myself. Emina and team Color Lounge are AWESOME! I have had challenges with getting highlights for years and Emina has conquered it! Her haircuts are amazing too! I have two teenage boys that finally agreed to go to her and they LOVE their looks! I highly recommend trying her out! AND, so conveniently located to Darien Commons, train station and post road!

So...like most women would agree...hair can make or break your mood and look. Well, my hair has hair - it is long and prone to extreme frizz and the roots somehow grow at the speed of light. Let's just say, dealing with my hair is not for the fainted heart. So, when my hair decides to not cooperate on every level, I run to The Color Lounge for some hair TLC. Emina, who is the hair whisperer, comes to the rescue...I walk in looking Baba Yaga and leave looking like a super star worthy of the red carpet!! I can say without hesitation that Emina is the best stylist/colorist I have encountered. She is uber talented and skillful and very personable. I trust her completely with my crazy mane. To be honest, everyone there, the other stylists and assistants as well, are very talented/skilled and have great energy. I also love the wonderful energy of the salon. Beautifully decorated, it has a lovely peaceful allure/charm. And definitely ask for a cup of coffee...it is a caffeine experience of the highest level! All in all, The Color Lounge is HAUTE salon on every level. What are you waiting for??? Make that call! :)

Cici is THE BEST. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything hair and color, flexible, will listen to what you want, share her opinion, and also is just so friendly. She allows for a wonderful hair experience and people always rave about my hair. This place is special because of her. (I also have never left a review - so this is just how I feel).

Emina and Nicole are life savers!!! I spent my day with them doing a full head balayage from Emina, and an eyebrow wax & tint and eyelash lift & tint with Nicole. They were both so friendly and welcoming, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!! Both ladies took their time with me and made me feel brand new when I left. Absolutely will be returning back for all future appointments!! 10/10 recommend ☺❤

My first visit to Color Lounge was fantastic! Emina is a true professional and excellent at what she does. I had a Brazilian Blowout, and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I went from total frizz to smooth and sleek in just over an hour! Would I recommend this salon? A big YES! I highly recommend Color Lounge for all of your hair cut, color, styling needs.

Truly amazing! I don't trust anyone else with my hair besides Emina, she frames my face so well and has given my hair life!! I love that the place extended and has brought in Nicole. She has hands of gold for the eyelash/eyebrow game and facials are amazing.

Emina and Vjollca and the whole team at The Color Lounge are amazing! They are conveniently located right off Exit 10 on I-95 in Darien. I have had my color done here and also had haircuts here and I look forward to doing a keratin treatment in the future. They are super friendly, professional, clean and extremely talented. My hair is thick and wavy and they somehow manage to make it look perfect all the time. I always get compliments on my hair and highly recommend them!
