Great food. Tried a couple of tacos. They were very good. Fish and chips was delicious. Brisket sandwich was great too.

2/2024: Last night we met a bunch of friends for a drink at the bar and it was a lot of fun. Mixed drinks are around $16, pint of hard cider $7, .. my father says it's the best gnocchi ever, and the burgers are delicious.
The atmosphere is really the reason to come except that it was so hot inside!! And so many televisions playing sports.

Yummy Bunny Bloody Mary is good.
Ambience is excellent, an Italian-American pub; service is good for drinks, slow for food, but it's excellent.
Ribs are excellent!!

So nice to have another establishment on Main Street Ridgefield ..

Music is all 80s pop, could be updated.

Fantastic experience! Sunday afternoon offered beautiful weather on the patio or NFL inside. We ordered truffle mushroom Parmesan gnocchi (AMAZING) Brussels sprouts were fantastic and great selection of wine/ beer but also have a full bar. Great for couples, kids, families and furbabies!

I love this place.
Great vibes, hot great food and excellent service.
I would say get the chicken wings and fish and chips.
Burgers and Cubano Bomb as well.
Enjoy a phenomenal evening in the center of Ridgefield without the pretentious shenanigans!

Great new established! The staff was very friendly!The food was delicious and great portions . We enjoyed 4 mini sliders ;2 short ribs sliders,a lobster slider ,and a duck slider. We also really enjoyed the crispy Calamari and a kale Cesar salad. Last but not least go for the dessert we had the homemade brownie with a side of the hazelnut Gelato five stars all the way! Definitely will be back thanks for a great first experience and best of luck !

Great burger, loved the Cuban sandwich. French fries are low key fire: like fancy McDonald’s (perfect). Friendly staff and comfy vibe. 10/10

Incredibly fresh food/ingredients throughout. Some of the best starters in the area. Nice vibe on a Saturday night with several tables full, and the bar steady with fans watching college football. The Lantern has quickly become a favorite local spot.

Great food all fresh, something for everyone! Not a noisy place.

We came here with a big group, and the service was stellar. My meal was delicious, my drink was delicious, and I can't say enough good things about the hazelnut gelato I had for dessert.

Went for a girls night and it was AMAZING. We started with Tacos to share for the table. The Blackened Shrimp and Vegan tacos were super yummy and full of flavor. We split a detox salad with chicken and they were nice enough to split the portions for us so we could avoid a mess. We also shared the roasted chicken, brussel sprouts, and stuffed gnocchi. We each had an espresso martini as dessert and they were able to make each one the way we liked them. Everything was amazing and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back and will recommend you to others!

Stuffed gnocci and portabello mushroom starters exceeded expectations - more complex and unique than they could’ve been, delicious, and well-prepared. Grandma style pizza was fire. A couple very fun pizzas on the menu. Good beer on tap, some local breweries. Service wasn’t necessarily “slow,” and I have no complaints, but it’s kinda country and Coastal Connecticut Karens and New Yorkers will feel like it’s too slow. Price points good. Charming inside. Full bar. Dinner option near Ridgefield Playhouse venue. Compliments to the chef for differentiating themselves a bit! Will return. Recommend.

We very much enjoyed eating outside under a gas heater on a chilly day. Very good, positive, welcoming service. The cheddar cheese burger came with fries & Cole slaw... cooked to medium as ordered and tasty. The cheese / lobster sandwich with fries & slaw was also excellent. Highly recommended for people watching as well. Iced tea was fresh & homemade.

The reviews for The Lantern should be much higher. It’s a bar that serves food. The food and service are always great. The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are imaginative and the food delivers!

Consistently good food and great reasonable prices for Ridgefield. Haven't had that since the Little Pub left. This is our new go to. The sour dough pizzas, calamari, and cuban are delicious, as are many other items on their menu. Great new addition to town!

Recently moved into the area and have gotten food here three times getting something different every time.

Haven't been disappointed yet! Food is great, staff is super nice and helpful no matter how busy it is.

Wonderful food & amazing drinks! The staff is so friendly!! The waitress we had, was the same as our 1st visit remembered us and was exceptionally nice & sweet!

Nice place, great wines, fabulous staff, extensive menu, clean...

Had the lobster roll cold with the tarragon mayo. Absolutely delicious. Still being able to sit outside on the brick sidewalk made this visit a little more magical. Definitely a must try.
