The space is really cool and all the staff is super friendly and welcoming! She gave me a great hair haircut and listened to exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Valerie is tremendous - like many others, I've been going to her for haircuts for over ten years now. My hair looks great each time, and she never misses a beat, even when I switch up how I want my hair.

Not only did my highlights come out beautifully, but more importantly, I had the most pleasant experience with Naela. The salon and Naela did everything possible to make me feel comfortable during the pandemic, including moving another appointment to accommodate me (without me even asking). The safety measures are top notch (including an air purification system) and more importantly, Naela is so understanding and warm. She is a great stylist, but an even better person. I was truly blown away with how much care she and her team showed me during my visit.

I cannot stress enough how amazingly talented Nyla is as both a colorist and stylist. She and her wonderful team (namely Dana and Gladys) go above and beyond to cater to the needs of their clients and make them feel at home.

I had recently moved to CT from out of state and was not only in need of a new hairdresser; I also needed to find someone that I could trust to color my hair for my January 2021 wedding.

I’m still in awe of how much mastery Nyla has over her color and how efficiently she works. I have SO much hair. I usually spend 3-4 hours in the chair for full highlighting and she did it in less than half the time - with better results!

I went to Nyla’s salon after interrogating my sister to find out where she got her color done 😉 I really like my hair to be bleach blond but I’ve had some experiences in the past at salons that left me with orangey hair. Seeing my sisters hair turn out so great, I figured I’d give Nyla’s a shot. Maddie was my hair dresser and in two sessions she was able to no only give me a great grown up hair cut which I desperately needed, but lighten my hair to be the white blond that I love!! During my appointments, I was actually able to talk to Nyla herself. She was extremely friendly and I could see from watching her with her other clients that she knew what she was doing. Amazing! I will definitely return!

I got my hair done for the first time at Nyla’s Hair Therapy and it was the most amazing hair salon experience I had ever had. From the first time walking in the salon is gorgeous, clean, and welcoming with amenities such as coffee, water and snacks. I got my hair highlighted and cut and it has never looked this amazing. Since I started getting balayage 2 years ago my hair has been damaged and I have never achieved the blonde look I was striving for despite tons of bleach going into my hair. Nyla recommended I switch to highlights and the results were amazing. I was also surprised at how quickly she was able to complete such fast results, usually with my long hair highlights and a cut take 3-4 hours, but I was done in an hour and a half. It has been several weeks since I went and my hair is still much shinier and stronger than it was previously. I would recommend this salon to anyone, Nyla made me feel so comfortable, listened to what I wanted and did not push for anything more than I asked. The salon is so welcoming and beautiful you would be missing out if you didn’t come to Nyla’s. Nyla’s experience and warmth is unmatched and the results speak for themselves.
