Was in the neighborhood and was walking by and it smelled so good from the outside, we all decided to stop in for some lunch. This was exactly what we were looking for, a cozy feeling tavern with exposed brick and framed pictures lining the walls in this corner establishment. We were greeted and seated right away before it got busy. Our server was very nice and friendly. I had ordered the French Onion Soup (amazing flavor), the Buffalo Wings (fresh wings not frozen) and the Philly Cheesesteak and everything was delicious. Great spot!

What a wonderful establishment! From the outside you are greeted by the old world Norwalk charm and continues on into the interior design. Wood trim, early twentieth century looking bar with modern touches, and a funky old floorplan that only exists in old cities.
We were greeted by a server who was incredibly friendly and had the overwhelming task of working the bar and waiting tables at lunch time. She handled it with ease and charm.
I ordered the BBQ rack of ribs which were absolutely amazing and gigantic! They came with a side of coleslaw, great, and shoestring fries, average fries. I would grab a rib and it would just slide out of the meat, now that's what I call tender. The ends were nice a crispy but moist inside. The BBQ sauce was unique and full of flavor.
My mother had the Cobb salad which was one of the best I have seen in years.
For dessert my mother had a cappuccino which she said was the best she ever had. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, if you are a true cheesecake aficionado you know ricotta makes the best cheesecake. This did not disappoint. It's probably been 15 years since I had one as good.

We were visiting Norwalk for a family wedding & ate here 4 times over the course of the weekend! We absolutely loved every item we tried. Service was great as well. When we come back later this year, we’ll be sure to stop in!

Wonder Place! Had a surprise party here & everybody was very nice & helpful! Food was a 10/10. Definitely recommend having a dinner party here or just coming to eat!

This is the best spot for appetizers and drinks in Norwalk. Great happy hour prices & great food special options every day. Food is always piping hot and delicious…nice portions, fresh, and well seasoned. Everything on the menu is top notch. They make the best Cosmos with Patron. They have this nice layer of iciness on the top…Perfect every time. Ask about the cherry jello-o shots…you will love them…Always a 5 out of 5 stars.

We recently had lunch at BJ Ryan’s East, and it was an amazing experience! The food was incredible with a staff that was very attentive to detail( I recommend the steamers for an appetizer!).The atmosphere was warm and friendly with outdoor dining if you’d prefer an Al fresco experience.if you’d like a delicious meal and a fun night out, I’d highly recommend BJ Ryan’s East!

What a great place! The food was wonderful, the sangria was perfect, not too sweet, the atmosphere was cool and the staff was great! Highly recommend!

Great spot for a good lunch or some great pub food after work/late night. The staff is more than amazing so friends and outgoing! The owners also always step up and make sure the customers are happy. Even the rental room upstairs is a good time for private parties. 10/10 recommend 😀

First time here, came up to catch a show at the Wall St Theater, right around the corner. Hot, Delicious burger, cooked just right, nice bun, great portion of very tasty fries. Ice cold IPA, what more could you want? Server was outstanding, very attentive. Bring some quarters for the metered parking, machine didn't seem to like my debit card!

The only spot that stays open late and still serves delicious food! I love stopping in here for a drink or takeout and the staff is always friendly. This is a great spot for date night and even has a private bar on the second floor for events. Perfect spot that’s not overcrowded by the downtown mobs.

Great place to hangout with other alcoholics in the historic uptown area of Norwalk. Wings get the job done and you free pizza at midnight if you make it

Server was so nice! Came in on a Thursday at 11 and he was so great with the recommendations and service. Food was great. Huge portions. When it says giant chicken parm… take it seriously.

Had a great experience for my first visit here. Wide variety of courses on the menu. Great drink selections. Had the fried chicken special with charred Brussels on the side. Very satisfied.

Omygosh. Far surpassed my expectations . Table for 15! Individual checks, stellar service from Kristen and Tim, amazing food. And the bartender rock it.

I believe the restaurant part is there mostly as a service for their bar. Some custom likes to eat and drink at the same time. I go there for the food as I don't drink, at least not fermented or distilled beverages. The food is great. They serve a nice steak as well as the chicken marsala (my choice). The waitress might not be there in second you sit down, but she (there are several "she" but only one at a time) is friendly and efficient. I will be back. I have been there many times and I might bring a friend too.

We hosted our fantasy football draft in the private room upstairs and it was an awesome experience. Food was way better than a typical football gathering and the price was reasonable. We plan on booking again next year.

I really like this tavern. The food here is excellent plus if you see a comedian ( yes they host comedy ) tell em you tried the shrimp... trust me ;)

I always get the rigatoni with meat sauce but the menu, even though short, delivers with diverse options; and with a wide selection of brews on tap you can't go wrong with a place this great.
