Flying Colors Painters

Flying Colors comes with a lot of recommendations. We first used them in 2014 to replace our roof. We were totally satisfied with the work done and kept them in mind for the future. We hired them in 2024 to do an entire exterior house painting project. Steve, the owner, is great. His crews are professional and know what they are doing. First he had his power washer come in and give the exterior a rinse. Second, the carpenters came in to evaluate & replace any rotted wood. They took time to show us that there was a good amount of rotted wood trim and shingles. It was clear that we needed to replace so much of the shingles and trim and the team got to work right away and made sure the project advanced. After all the carpentry work was done, the painters came and an absolutely fantastic job. Clean lines, no mess anywhere. Steve is always super responsive and takes time to explain the steps along the way. I would recommend Flying Colors without hesitation and the work they do is exceptional. If you're looking at a painting or roofing project, definitely call Flying Colors.

Flying Colors is outstanding. We have now used them twice, first for roofing our house (several years ago), and more recently (August 2023), for exterior painting of our house. First class work throughout, from replacement of window sills that were damaged from dry rot, to the prep of the exterior to the painting. Excellent attention to detail. Steve was very responsive to our needs and communications. We WILL use Flying Colors again for future projects.

I just had my house painted by Flying Colors, the same company I hired 10 years ago. I was happy then, and I am elated now! They did a magnificent job and it was not an easy task.

Steven, the owner, a very professional and kind guy, sent me the same team as last time. After 10 years, the paint was peeling extensively, so Wilmer, the foreman, and his team had to sand down the entire house under very grueling conditions (temperatures in the 90s with high humidity). They were meticulous and paid attention to every detail. Also, some wood had to be replaced, so Steven sent 2 carpenters that contributed to the final product…..THE HOUSE LOOKS LIKE NEW!

We recently had the exterior of our home painted by Flying Colors. Steve (the owner), was very professional from our first conversation. He provided us with a very fair estimate and after choosing to use Flying Colors, he promptly scheduled the job. His crew was very professional and finished the job in a very timely manner. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each workday and were very informative on even the smallest of details/concerns like replacing a damaged fascia board. Flying Colors made the process of painting our home a very pleasurable experience from start to finish! Steve is very responsible and takes pride in the customer being totally satisfied. Great overall experience. Steve was very responsive, easy to talk to and got everything done I asked. There was some carpentry work outside normal prep and paint and they listened to what i wanted done and everything was done above my expectations.
House looks great and him and his entire crew were friendly and professional through out the project.

We used Flying Colors for painting all of the interior rooms of our new home. Steve is super friendly and is very responsive via email/text, and Alex the foreman did a great job leading his team. We had our brick fireplace white washed and they patch tested 2 options for us before they did the whole fireplace and it turned out just the way we wanted. They did a great job - highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Flying Colors! Many neighbors on our street have used them and now I know why. Steven started off the experience by being very friending and responsive when he provided a quote. They started the job on time and quickly sanded the house and fixed all the rotted wood. They were always friendly and did not cut any corners. We have had our home painted a few times but no one ever removed all the storm window frames to make sure they reached every spot. They quickly finished the job but the quality was outstanding. Each day they cleaned up our property and made it seem they were not even in the middle of a job when they left each night. After they finished all their work they did an incredible job cleaning the site and making sure everything was back in the exact spot when they first arrived. Alex who was the foreman was incredible. I would recommend Flying Colors to everyone!!

I used Steve and his crew for my roof and it looks incredible. They did first rate work at a great price. Then I had his company do my exterior painting, which was a challenge. I have old cedar shingles as well as regular wood trim that was rotting in places. Part of my house is also stone so I needed out of the ordinary work done. They did an extraordinary job. Hats of to his foreman Diego for the roof, and Willy for the painting. I highly recommend them for all your home improvement needs.

The crew from Flying Colors completed one interior room and the complete exterior of our home today. They were very respectful of our property, arrived early each day and cleaned up and stored their equipment daily. They prepped our home very carefully and as a result the paint job looks fantastic! Steven and his team at Flying Colors Painting are always professional, reliable and do a great job. They just repainted the exterior of our house in less than a week and it looks great. We have also used them to paint the inside of the house with similar results. Highly recommend and will hire again!

The job of repairing siding and painting our house was a big one. Flying Colors' large staff arrived when they said they would and completed the job with efficiency. They were very thorough, and I was particularly impressed by the care they took on the deck to sand it to bare wood, prime, and paint. I know this paint job will last. The house is surrounded by gardens, which made the job harder for them. They listened to my concerns, and I was grateful that they were careful to keep damage to a minimum. It was always easy to communicate with the painters and carpenters, and the owner was always available by email for questions. The company was recommended to me by a friend, and I will gladly recommend them to friends in the future.

My husband and I dreaded the thought of painting the interior of our home.
In our younger years, we had tackled painting projects ourselves, one room at a time. The idea of trusting a company to do the work for us was quite unsettling.

Fortunately, our very particular son-in-law, recommended Flying Colors. Steve Totilo, the owner, delivered a fair price and comprehensive contract. He communicated with us by text message and always followed through promptly.

When we met the painting crew, it was obvious that they had been working together for a significant amount of time. Each man understood his responsibilities, was skilled in his craft, meticulous in the clean-up and responsive to our requests. At the end of each day, our furniture was back to its original placement. We did not lift a finger except to remove and replace our personal belongings from each room.
