I came here after having a horrendous color job at another salon that practically left me in tears. Angie took the time to meet with me for a consultation and discuss my goals and plan of addressing the overall aesthetic. She was able to completely transform my hair in one visit with the most gorgeous brunette balayage while maintaining the health and length of my hair. Huge thanks to the entire team for giving me my confidence back and for creating such a warm environment with your kindness and attention to detail. Will absolutely return!

I went here on whim to get my eyebrows fixed up for a wedding. They were pretty bushy and I never had them done before being a guy. Cara was very friendly and professional, plus my eyebrows look pretty slick. I highly recommend seeing Cara

Ultimathule is the BEST! I've been coming here for a year now and I used to drive from an hour away - they're that good. Angie always goes out of her way to make sure your hair is the way you want it, she is so conscientious and will be honest about what will look good and what won't. She has kept my blonde healthy and when we change colors she asks plenty of questions to make sure we're doing the right shade. The blowouts and haircuts are also too good, I will find any excuse to make an appointment!

Cara also does the best eyebrows, and I've had bad experiences with people taking too much or too little off. She shapes mine perfectly every time.

The prices are reasonable and worth every penny! Best salon IMO!!! Angie and Cara are also so funny and sweet, best salon experience I've ever had period.

Allison, Jackie and Cara are superwomen. This past year, the three of them turned me into a queen for my wedding day. Allison has cut and colored my hair for over a year, and each time, I leave feeling polished and beautiful. I've had so many people ask me where I get my color done...she's incredible. Jackie additionally made a huge impact on my overall look this past year with her hair extension recommendations and installation. Cara did my makeup for my engagement shoot and made my brows look pretty before the big day - she's amazing.These three ladies are the best around, and I highly recommend the Ultimathule Salon. The location is adorable, centrally located and you may even get to pet a couple adorable puppers while you're waiting for your hair to set.

WOW!! 100/10 My first time at this Salon and I am absolutely loving it !! All the girls there are so sweet and friendly, it’s such a cute and clean salon, and what a FANTASTIC job they did!! Angie and Jackie did a beyond PERFECT job with my cut and color!! I always get a little nervous at new places but they were so sweet and understanding with what I wanted to do, always checking in with me during the whole process with a smile on their face! They are so warm and welcoming! I loved chatting with you all!! Thank you ladies so much!!! I can’t wait to come back!

I purchased my wife an amazing experience with Angie at Ultimathule Salon in Westport, CT for her birthday. She is a true artist when it comes to hair. Angie listened to my wife's ideas and provided expert advice, resulting in a haircut and style that exceeded my wife’s expectations. Her attention to detail and precision were impressive. The salon itself had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend Angie enough; she's a fantastic hairdresser who truly knows her craft! Isabelle was AMAZING! Everyone at this salon was very attentive from start to finish. I got exactly what I was hoping for! I have been getting my hair done by Angie since I moved to CT 3 years ago and she does an amazing job! I love the color that she does and she always offers great recommendations for cuts. Angie and the rest of the staff are so friendly and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a hair salon!

This place is absolutely amazing! Jackie has been cutting my hair for years and is the absolute best! I have curly hair and is not the easiest to cut but Jackie works wonders! She knows exactly how to cut my hair in a way that I can wear it curly or blow dried. It took me YEARS to find someone who knew how to work with my hair and cut it correctly and I’m SO happy I found her! My colorist Angie and the owner of the salon is just as amazing!! She listens to everything I want and always delivers! Ever since going to her, my color has never looked better. I’m constantly getting compliments! Cara has been doing my eyebrow lamination for a while now and I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I went to her! She’s so professional and explains the pros about doing it. She says that the eyebrows shape the face and she’s not wrong! This triple threat team is not only amazing at their work but they are just the best people to be around! Their energy and the salon vibes are everything I’ve looked for and I’m so lucky to have found this salon!! I would recommend this place a thousand times over to anyone in the area looking for a salon!! Thank you SO much girls!!

I highly recommend Joanne for men's haircuts. She is the best in the business and understands what I ask for. I've been going to her for years and have always loved the cuts— short haircuts and long haircuts. They grow in nicely, too.

I got a haircut from someone else while on a business trip, and my hair was butchered... BUT I came to Joanna when I got home, and she absolutely saved my hair. It might be my favorite haircut yet, too.

I have been coming to Angie’s since covid and never changed back! Definitely the best color I ever had done (used to go to Bumble and Bumble and Licari in the New York City). My hair is also better than it has ever been. I do haircuts, keratin treatments here as well. I recently tried their eyebrow services which are also great. My 7year old daughter also insists in having her haircuts here!

I found Isabelle now at Ultima Thule! Love how well she communicates her thoughts after I tell her my needs. The color and balayage is perfect! She is definitely an up and comer in the hair world. A gem.

Thank you Angie for your encouraging words and expertise as you cut 4 inches off my hair and gave me a new style. I love that I can blow it myself at home which is really important to me. Love it and I’m getting a lot of compliments too. Next time I’ll get highlights!!

First time here and I really enjoyed my experience. Not only was my haircut perfect (yes they do men’s haircuts!), the staff was very friendly and welcoming as soon as I entered the door. On top of that, they have a cool little snack and coffee bar that the new owners Angie put together. Will definitely go back for my next cuts!

I had an excellent haircut thanks to Joanne. I gave her a rough guide, and she did the rest. She listened to my war stories and made me feel at ease. The end result was the best haircut I've had in Westport. I will be returning in a couple of months.

Isabelle is the only person I trust with my hair! I always get compliments on my cut and color. She also helped me find products that work for my hair type and showed me how to style my hair at home. I can’t recommend her enough!

I moved to CT from NJ 3 years ago and Angie at ultimathule came highly recommended by a friend for balayage/highlights. I’ve been going here ever since! The salon is in a great location, staff is friendly and the best at what they do. Highly recommend going here for all your needs you won’t be disappointed.

I had my first haircut here with Angie, and it was one of the best haircuts I have had in a very very long time. I gave her some requests and let her guide the cut, and it turned out perfectly. Definitley reccomend and will go back! They have maintained cleanliness and safety precautions as well for COVID and it was a really great experience. And the price was perfect. I loved it so much that I went out of my way to write this review because I'm just really that happy and impressed by them.

I have been going to this salon for the past year and a half and love Joanne (the owner and wonderful stylist) and Angie (amazing stylist and colorist). They both have a great aesthetic and I always leave happy. Kelly is also a great receptionist and can usually find an appointment that works for me. Excellent value! Highly recommend!
