Eddy County Motor Vehicle Department

We live in Farmington and I dread going to our DMV, so since we were visiting family in Artesia, we decided to renew my license here. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I was very pleased with our experience!

We went there today to become New Mexico Residents. What a great experience, Sandy was awesome! Knowledgeable, competent and hassle free! I wish every government office would work like that.

If you need things done and done right, this is the place to go. My son tried twice to take his drivers test at the Chavez County DMV but was unable due to their incompetence. We traveled to the Eddy County DMV and were helped quickly. Everyone there knew what they were doing and were friendly and professional. This is probably the best government office I’ve ever seen.

Got me in and out! Answered all questions I had except struggled a little bit when it came to the mechanic lean. But after a few phone calls we have to wait for an NCIC officer call us back. Pretty good service!

Have never had any problems with this place. Always received courteous and helpful assistance. Much better than in the old days on Washington.
