Ming Wah Chinese Restaurant

My family has had Ming Wah as our main Chinese takeout place since we first moved here (over 15 years ago). Their family has grown alongside ours. I still remember being in elementary school and coming in with my dad to see their son playing games in the back, and my dad always was excited when he heard about their daughter going to college and how everyone was doing. They’ve always recognized me and my mother and given us a free soda, even after my dad passed away. The food is always delicious—better than any other Chinese place I’ve eaten at—and the owners will always have a soft spot in my heart. I hope to see everyone in the family thrive.

3/21/23 still the best Chinese made fresh.. not cold but hot.. i go in they know what i want! There is a boy that helps. He has a great attitude and working to make his family proud..great Chinese family restaurant due to everthing is freshly made and hot.. i now go and they now what i like before i order.(shrimp fried rice) Also they have a young man working(sometimes) that started very young and i was impressed with him working and serving the public so well. So many young people do not want to work!! try fried shrimp this week! Low prices great food!! Nice people!!!

I have been going there since we bought our house, 15 years ago. They have always had excellent food and phenomenal service. I have tried numerous dishes and they have always suggested new ones for us to try. I will continue to be a loyal customer and advocate for newer neighbors to try it.

This is our go to Chinese restaurant. It is never greasy or overly salted. Always good food and good prices. I normally get the shrimp lol mein and veggie fried rice. My husband usually gets the General Tsao chicken and we would highly recommend both. Delivery people are always pleasant as well.

Chicken broccoli is perfect portion size and it was so delicious. Would recommend this place for take out any night your feeling Chinese food. Good area to be located as well.

It was good just as I expect it. Very clean ,you could see how they doing your food.The bathrooms are clean and the waiting is not a lot may you they told me 15 min and I left in 10 minutes.Is family oriented ,they all work together as a team.I will recommended and will eat more there

Such good food, clean and not greasy. Delivery is great and quick. Im picky with Chinese but this has been my place for a while now. Very good.

I've been eating here since forever I can call and tell them my address and they say ok you want same. I tell them yes please and my food arrives hot in a timely manner and is always 100% correct

Best food in waterbury. Their rice is delicious you can tell they change there oil often. Fast service.

With some Chinese food the taste varies. At Ming Wah the food is pretty consistent always fresh and delicious 😋
