The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding.
Going on Sunday was a treat! Had a free raffle with DJ entertainment. Football was on and their fans were happy to live it up. Great time.

Wow. Wow. Wow. So good. The food the people the wait staff everything was awesome. We had the meatball with swiss ,the, turkey and the sausage with peppers and onions grinders and chicken strips and and clam chowder it was all amazing. I will definitely be going back again. The money we spent was well worth it and the food items weren't that expensive... Everywhere else recently was so expensive and food just didn't taste right in some way this place is awesome and delicious. Next time I need more dipping sauce for my chicken strips which I must say we're fresh. And they didn't give me chips with my grinder last time we did so not sure what happened there. Even the live band was great . It's the last of the season though. Located right next to the beach... Just convenient and delicious Soo happy.

Stopped after a visit to the area history and waterfalls and had a beer. My wife had some clam half shell and after finally deciding in a draft we played pool and had a great stop. Thanks to the awesome bartender service was on point.

Sports Bar. Drinking hole. Family friendly. Good food and better prices. The tavern checks a lot of boxes. Give it a try and you won’t sad you did!

Food very good. Had fish and chips, Joan had steamers chowder and fritters. Service very good. Recommend anyone from across the street at Rocky Neck give it a try.

Service was great fast burgers and fries coke. Very close to koa camp ground .that was a very quiet place but very nice new pools open have fun camping stop in for a meal or beer thank u guys girls

Wow! Been there many, many times. The fish and chips are the best in New England. We had such a great time and will continue to go there forever. Steve, the owner came out to greet us with a smile and a hand shake. I will be a customer forever! I only wish there were 10 stars as the Lyme Tavern deserves them all. Thanks again for the incredible service and even better the out of this world, fish and chips. 👍👍👍

Stopped in on a whim because it was the closest place to the beach. The burgers were GREAT and my son loved his personal pizza. Good beer list. The prices are very reasonable.

Spacious and comfortable, wait patiently for a delicious burger. Lots of options and a god place to take a break from the sun. The owner cares about your experience.

From the outside, this might look like a keno driven dive bar catering to committed alcoholic townies. But don't be fooled. The food here is on another level entirely, some of the best clam fritters I've had in my life, a huge portion of delicate, lightly sweet, fritters about the size of a golf ball packed with sweetcorn and studded with tender clams. The New England style clam chowder is rich, creamy, and fresh tasting, without the "flour-heavy" doughiness that so many other places do. And big surprise: the draft beers have plenty of local craft options. A really delightful place.

Very friendly staff. Great service and awesome tasting food. The clam chowder was the best. Also pet friendly on the patio.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go and enjoy a meal with my Family ,friends or by myself.,The food is excellent I have a few favorites that I just love.The staff is very friendly and helpful and Steve always makes sure that everyone is taking care of with up most respect.I definitely recommend Lyme Tavern and give it a five star rating. It’s a bar, so it goes without saying that they have bar food! But lots more also! Lots of seafood dishes, and plain old New England comfort food. I had a cheesy burger with onions and peppers, with a side of onion rings…and a Bud! Delicious! I could go for one now! Tavern Melt I think they call it.

Excellent food, atmosphere, service…. And this place is special…. Not a lot of places you can visit as a grandma and remember feet dangling from a bar chair drinking a cherry coke with grampy ❤ Never let this special place go…. Steve…. Had not been here since before Covid. We had had pretty good, and some mediocre food here before, but we went there on a Monday because many other restaurants in town are closed on Mondays. We were glad we went! It is the only place we have see steamers in forever! And boy, were they delicious! I don't know what they cook them in but they were the tastiest I have ever had! Hubs had a fish sandwich which he said was very good, and I had some clam chowder that was pretty good. We enjoyed it so much, we went back last night for more steamers! Then we had wings. BBQ and bourbon and they were the best wings I ever had! We will def be back!
