Woodfellas Pizza & Wings

We had a great dinner from Woodfellas! Saw it as I dove by earlier in the day and decided to give it a try. We did take-out but the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting! Our next meal here will be dine in.
The owner greeted me as I walked in and was very pleasant! We ordered the love salad and a cheese pizza. The salad was amazing! Full of garlic and pepper and cheese and salami! Authentic Hughies Love Salad!! The pizza was great! Sauce was good with a nice wood fire crust! Fabulous dinner and can't wait to dine in!

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had the hot honey bread, sweet chili wings, and a pepperoni pizza. The bread was excellent. Great flavor with a little heat and nice marinara. The wings were really nicely done also. Nice crisp outside with flavorful, moist chicken inside. The pizza was also beautifully done. Great crust, great flavor, great experience. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.4.

Great named place. The food was delicious and the off the hook. Service was awesome and I love the use of the old church pews!! Definitely need to check out this hidden gem. Tell em Paulie sent ya!!

So I came here when it was 2 Wives and it was good but not “great” , Woodfellas took over and it’s sooooooo good! The pizza was ahhhhmazing, restaurant is very clean, waitstaff is friendly and food came out fresh and hot ! Definitely recommend!!!
And they offer a 10% military discount if your military:)

The location is perfect and the staff is friendly. I went with a big group and our waitress was fantastic. The pizza is delicious, and they offer many different options. I will definitely be back again.

Lots of people coming in to pick up to-go orders. Not very packed inside when I was there (Sunday, 6pm). Fast and helpful service, very good French Onion soup and Chicken Thai pizza.

Wow what a delicious meal! There is a limited selection of foods, but it truly is tasty. The grilled beet salad was packed with great stuff and added teriyaki steak for an additional charge. The Caesar salad was equally packed. The soprano meatball panini was absolutely my favorite! The presentation and wait staff was excellent also. If you are traveling into or through New London stop by here for some good eats.

When we saw a sign out front advertising Pizza & Wings, I thought that this was going to be like every other pizzeria in the area. I was happily wrong. The waiter was attentive, keeping us apprised of the progress of our meal. We, along with a hundred other patrons, had just exited the Garde Arts Theater at 6:00 PM and Woodfellas was very busy. But they were not full to capacity. We started with a Caesar's salad that had an excellent dressing. It wasn't too strong or too weak and the romaine wasn't completely drowned in it. The wings were large and again, not drowned in sauce, but with enough to require extra napkins. The pizza we chose was the Zoey which features cheddar cheese, chicken and peanuts. It was excellent. Overall it was a very good meal. We should have opted for half a pizza pie, as we carried half home. It was just as good the next day. The only downside is the cost. We were out for the evening and wanted an exceptional meal and were happy to pay the price, including a nice tip for our attentive and entertaining waiter.

We had their food truck cater for my wedding celebration and it was absolutely fantastic. All the guests at our wedding were raving about the pizza and the service was excellent. Thank you for accommodating our special day.

Amazing shrimp scampi pizza it's was gone in seconds . The garlic flavor was spot on . I would suggest a little white sauce or something to give the pizza a bit more juiceiness . Overall I'd eat there again forsure

Woodfellas did our late night menu with the pizza truck at Stonehurst HV Barn and they were EXCELLENT. People

This was my first time going and I took my daughter for dinner after her 5th grade promotion. The food was beyond delicious and the scallops..... oh man the scallops were like butter, and so flavorful! Definitely recommend this nifty little place!!!

Absolutely the best wings in New London! Trendy industrial vibe, local bottled beer and amazing flavors of wings!

Gluten free pizza is really good, I get mine without cheese, but that say the vegan cheese is good too. I had Kalamata olives and tomatoes and red onions on tomato sauce. I’ll order it again the next time I’m in New London

I ordered delivery today, and it arrived exactly on time. The roast beef sandwich & the meatball sandwich were awesome & the side salads were, too. Always a great experience from your restaurant !

Went there while on a business trip to Connecticut. Good pizza. Thin crust and balanced taste.

Has parking. Waiters are well mannered and polite. It is a well decorated environment.

Do not recall any downsides to the place.

Replaced the "2 Wives" restaurant.
The brick oven-fired pizzas were crisp thin crusted (albeit somewhat blackened) were delicious and the topping choices were numerous & tasty. The ceilings are high enough to echo the noisy banter of patrons & kitchen, but it was not too off-putting. Our server was friendly and efficient. This is a great place to spend an lunch or evening meal. Wish them the best of success in New London.

I ordered to go, but the atmosphere was great. Staff helped me carry my order to my car. The pizza was delicious!! So different from regular pizza shops. I ordered big stubby and Jackson hole, both were so flavorful! Definitely going back!!

Love being able to eat delicious wood fired pizza just around the bend from our home! It’s a fun environment and love that the service is fast, but also a space that allows for connection and good conversations. Noticed that there weren’t huge TV’s taking the attention away from conversation at the table. That was also so nice to have 😊

Great service, fresh salads, great pizzas of creative flavors, all delivered with speed and excellent friendly service. My top pizza place for the Groton/New London area.
