Northeast Medical Group Walk-In Care - New London

in and out of the building within a half hour for a walkin visit. very friendly staff, very happy i went! you walk in to the right for check in (they handle the entire building) and the walk in is to the left of the main entrance.

I am very impressed by this clinic! I have never had a better experience with urgent care outside of an ER. I wish I knew everyone's name that I dealt with! Nicest and most competent intake, nurse was great with prep, and Doctor was competent and efficient. Most excellent.

Samuel Peckham, APRN is by far the best provider I've known. He takes the time to explain things in a manner that you can truly grasp. He is VERY thorough at what he does and takes the time to listen. He is great at explaining how medications work, when to take them, what to avoid while taking them, and etc. He ensures to rule out other potential diagnosis and will explain the reason for labs or imaging. He is truly a provider who cares!

We see our primary care doctor here (this office is closer than his old one). We typically arrive early and rarely wait long in the waiting room. New COVID protocols require us to be seen in separate rooms, despite our preference for being seen together.

Receptionist who checked me in was one of the rudest and coldest I've EVER dealt with, and she's like that EVERY time! Staff treat you like an object and have such an unwelcoming body language and just say "I'm sorry to hear that", or other appropriate responses to issues in SUCH an obvious programmed tone you KNOW that they really don't care which makes you feel like you don't want to be there.
Only gave review 2 stars because the Doctor Amit Khanna for sleep apnea was the best, for a review by himself I would give 5 stars. He should work at a better place, the rest of staff there are rude or just don't seem to care except to be there and get paid.

I'm new to the area. I was referred to this practice back in June for heart population. Been trying to get a hold of these ppl since June 2022. I could've been dead by now waiting on them. They have been sent my referral numerous times and here we are January 2023 and still no call. I have proof that my referrals have been sent and received by them and they still lieyin. Do not trust these liars. Go somewhere else. I think they are selecting who they want to see and who they don't. Very unprofessional if you ask me. They have one star because I couldn't not give any stars like I would have gave them.

Hard time getting my Medicine it was hell last year they wouldn't fill refused to As I was sick couldn't make it to Drs . They can't refuse your meds. But did It took a very long time to get my Heart Med. People wolho work here are very rude in person and on phone. It was poor visits here people don't seem happy to work here. Poor customer service From them to me as Patient Don't like this place I wouldn't after last year what they put me thro to Get my meds My Heart pill is a need every day. They don't have to be Rude about it.!!!

Really disappointed with this practice right now. My appointment was cancelled the day of because of their error which should have been caught before today.

Unprofessional receptionists - don’t provide their names leave incomplete messages. can never actually speak with doctor which puts a patient at huge disadvantage. Some times when given appt with doctor they don’t inform you the appt is with nurse or PA; if I would’ve known that I would cancel. Very poor communication skills.

This place is usually good; however, DO NOT TRUST Dr. Peckham! My husband almost died due to the carelessness of him and Walgreens Pharmacy. My husband was given medication that did not mix well with another, and it landed him in the hospital from a seizure which nearly killed him recently!!!!! IT HAS AFFECTED US AND WE ARE VERY HURT AND MAD ABOUT THIS SITUATION. ...DOCTOR OFFICES NEED TO START CHECKING IN TO MAKE SURE DOCTORS ARE DOING THEIR JOB CORRECTLY BECAUSE WE PUT OUR LIFE IN THE HANDS OF DOCTORS ALL THE TIME AND ONE WRONG MOVE CAN COST A PATIENT THEIR LIFE!!!!

ALSO, If you call this office expect to be on hold for a long time.
I don't know how they still have a job when they leave patients on hold for that long, and it happens almost every single time patients call to speak to human being. It is very rude and seriously ridiculous. I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE WAST THEIR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!

Walkin is a waste of time do testing of covid at home there concern is covid. Dr. Barnum goes thru routine doesn't diagnosis 2 days sick loss of work. not even what meds to take. I am a chronic bronchitis and Pneumonia case could have stayed home taken COVID test buy my meds I think
going to Pequot or Stonington walkin would be

This is the absolute worst place ever. The women In the office are rude, nasty, and mean. You can't get appointment if you're sick. Horrible place. Don't go there.
