Swanson Hardware

Always helpful. They carry pretty much anything you would need for most home projects up to everything you may need to build a house, sans roofing and framing materials, which they may have if not the store behind them will.. Much better than going to Fort Dodge unless you need something obscure. They also sell hunting and fishing licenses and minnows. While not inexpensive they carry a well stocked tool selection of good quality.

I absolutely love this hardware store. Having just moved to the area I had to set up my new woodcarving / woodworking shop. I have been in and out of the store getting supplies at least every week. They have an amazing array of inventory to help me get set up, and Deb, Barb, Madison, and Eric have been a great help and have really made me feel welcome to the area. If you live near Manson Iowa I highly recommend Swanson's Hardware.
