Lake City Capri Theatre

Saw Castaway here Tom Hanks, when I was little. Titanic too. Someone cried when Jack went down. very sad :(. thanks for the memories growin up at the theater :D. Good little pizza place right next door too back then!

I'm a big fan of Capri Theatre! So proud of all the kind folks who volunteer to man the ticket booth and refreshment stand. Affordable family entertainment in a nice setting!

Such a FUN old beautiful movie theater. All run by volunteers. Best deal in the arts to watch a movie, only 2 dollars. And the price for popcorn and candy is really inexpensive too.

We are so very lucky to still have the Lake City Capri theatre run by volunteers! Many thinks go out to all the wonderful volunteers who make it happen. Where else can you take a family of 5 to the movies for 10$. Freshly popped popcorn and cold pop were great too and very affordable!

Tickets $2.00. Concessions reasonably priced. A beautifully restored theater. Comfortable reclining seats. Staffed by volunteers who care about their city. Try it out.

Affordable movies, that have usually just been ran through theaters. Mostly family friendly as it's ran by a betterment club, but that's perfect for a small town. Concessions are decently priced. Definitely not as pricey as a larger theater. Which makes a great weekend family outing.

I don't know how or why a person would/could pass up a two dollar movie experience, on a big screen! Much credit to all of the awesome people that keep this place going! If it wasn't for them, we would be forced to shell out an ungodly amount of money for nearly the same thing (with the consideration of the age of the movie). The ONLY small issue I saw was that a very few of the seats were missing arm cushions. Other than that, my family will continue to support this theatre for a very long while!

"You are so lucky to have a theatre in town!" Words from my 7-year-old grandson who enjoys going to the movies with me. We are, indeed, lucky to have this theatre. I have rarely been disappointed with the movie selections, and the committee does a good job of picking out movies that appeal to a wide-range of viewer. How can you ever go wrong with $2.00 admission!? It is a great way for families to enjoy a night out for a reasonable cost. Thank you to the board members and volunteers for keeping the theatre alive!

Great people, all volunteer staff, and awesome popcorn. Prices are affordable, so you can bring the whole family to a movie and not break the bank! My kids love going to the Capri!

This place is amazing! Shows the town coming together to keep a historic business / entertainment facility up and running.

Step back in time with this small town theater. With reduced prices and terrific concessions you can't go wrong.
