We had a very nice stay here. The sites are large pull-through sites on gravel with grass. We had plenty of space and the other guests were friendly. The staff was very helpful and offered us recommendations on a local business to help with a tire repair. We appreciated the walking trail, bench to relax on by the lake, and the incredible mountain views.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at while on vacation. Very neat and clean and taken very good care of. The lady running the check in has a great personality. If anyone traveling in this area should be wanting a place to stay at you should check Indian Creek out you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful view, nice long pull through sites (gravel but level), not a lot of shade but the price was fairly reasonable as of this writing ($53.82/night) It's also right next to a truck stop gas station. We were there with a 36' motorhome pulling.

We stayed here for a month and enjoyed our stay. All sites are pull-through making one night stops easy for travelers. The grounds is constantly being maintained with mowing, weeding, and tree trimming. Great views of the mountains in the distance. Nature trail goes to pond or you can keep going into town past pastures with horses and cattle.

Truck stop and highway border the park, but we rarely noticed the noise. The office staff were friendly.

This is a nice place to stay. Reasonably priced. Next to the freeway, easy access. The management are nice and easy going.

Just off the heyday in Deer Lodge across from the new hospital. Very well played out and all the conveniences. Clean and well groomed. Nice restroom and showers.

Very clean facility. Staff is exceptional, definitely five stars, over the top hospitality. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of stalls and showers. You have to have a code to get in. I only did tent camping, The grassy tent camping area (there are no tent 'pads') was very clean and very well kept up. I think I paid about 30 bucks. Very pleased and would recommend and would come back. It is July and High season here, the cheapest hotels are a hundred bucks or more so this was perfect for my little eat-sleep-shower-go again moment. The place seemed pretty packed out with rvs, however I was the only tent camper so there was plenty of room and plenty of choice for me. I chose a place in the shade there are a couple of shade trees if you get there early. I never saw anybody in the bathroom so that was surprising for a place that was so busy. There are a lot of campers as well as RVs, it's a diverse group. They were quiet definitely after 7:00 p.m., I saw dogs around but everybody was very well behaved. Not a lot of screaming and yelling and all that fun stuff. It is not their fault, there's been a lot of rain up here, and from South Dakota through Montana I've been dealing with mosquitoes, so if you come here this summer there's been a lot of rain I recommend you have insect repellent or some way of keeping them off of you. And your pets. They are quite severe. But yeah, this place gets nothing but love from me and my little poochie that I was taking from Atlanta to Seattle. Thanks guys!

Well managed RV park. Good sites with easy access and the office staff is exceptional. They handled a small mixup (my fault) with clever problem solving and minimal hassle. Really appreciated dealing with professionals.

Stayed in a 34’ class a motorhome. Sites are nice size w grass, great walking trails, basically super place to stay for a night or longer. Washrooms are nice size, clean and no extra charge for showers. Really large and well equipped handicap shower…. Only downfall to this is it isn’t separate from the washroom, so if you are a spouse needing to help your loved one, doesn’t work so well.
Would definitely come here again and the host is very friendly.

Great overnight stop. Full hookups, long pull throughs, level gravel sites.

Park is actually quite pretty with lots of trees, a cute pavilion, etc.

Owner very friendly.

Would definitely stay again the next time we're in the area.

Was a nice place to stay over night. Park looked well taking care of. Office staff was polite. If you have time goto the old prison and do the tour, and see the car museum.

We were scheduled here for 1 nite when our truck blew its engine 2 summers ago. Due to supply chain issues it took the shop in Missoula 4 weeks to put it together. Don’t know how they managed it but Penny found a way to maneuver clients to keep us while we were stranded. Gorgeous park and area. Tough to complain when you are stuck in a great place! Thanks Penny!!!!!

We stayed here for 3 months this spring/summer and plan for another month or two this fall. The hookups are fantastic--water pressure is strong, so you might want a regulator, though. The showers and bathroom are extremely clean, the laundry room has a few sets of washers and dryers that are very fairly priced, and they have plenty of trash cans for the park.

The city of Deer Lodge has a lot to offer, too. We especially appreciated the grocery stores, the playground at the park, and the library! It's so close to the freeway, too, for convenience; the road noise was no bother at all.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the cost is better than fair for such a great, well-kept park. We will certainly be back to Indian Creek RV Park in Deer Lodge, MT, and we highly recommend it to anyone who's traveling that way, whether you will stay for a night or a season (or longer).

Staff was friendly and helpful for our 1am arrival even though the office closed at 6pm. My wife And I stayed in the ‘tent area’ while car-camping. Pulled right up beside the grass lawn and set our tent out for storing our things and set up our air mattress in the 4Runner and got a great night sleep! Very clean bathrooms with showers. Convenient right off the interstate and right near a truck stop. Maybe noise bothers some but we slept in the car with windows cracked and didn’t notice a thing: my wife sleeps light and I sleep heavy. Paid $25 for the tent site and it was well worth it for the one night stop. Grounds look well taken care of and everything was just great all around.

We stopped here in early September 2019, as there was a raging rain storm and we didn't want to continue driving on I-90. We were pleasantly surprised. Our camper-van doesn't require any hook-ups, so the staff let us stay in a space with hook-ups for a very reasonable price. Clean restrooms. Hot showers. Laundry. They even gave us a discount coupon to use at the near-by gas station. We highly recommend it.

Restored our faith in RV parks!
After a negative experience at another campground, we decided to head for home early. The woman who answered the phone was SO helpful and reserved a spot for us that night. We pulled into the level, spacious pull-through RV spot with full hook-ups and were so thankful! The restrooms were immaculate - so much our kids commented on the cleanliness! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We will be back!

Came here to stay for a month or more, early May 2020. We are RV full-timers & have been seasonal Montanans for many years. Initially, we needed a nice place to wait out the MT 14 day quarantine as new arrivals from out of state. We definitely found that & more! Penny and company here are awesome! (Thanks for the end spot that we love!!!) I very much appreciate their commitment to state & CDC recommendations & safety for all their campers. We know they really care about our safety & comfort. They keep a beautiful clean campground. Great grounds; Amazing views. There's a nice little nature trail - we either sit by the pond & look at the birds, or walk along a horse pasture & to the county ball parks & fairgrounds. With few people out these days, it's been heaven for us to have a nice walk every day, basically all to ourselves. Driving around, there is so much public land nearby to explore. After nearly a month, we've barely scratched the surface of what this area has to offer: Warm Spring WMA, the Yellowstone Trail, driving the dirt roads in the National Forest... For outdoor enthusiasts & birders like us, there's so much to see in this area! We feel so very at home here & are so happy to have found this campground. I'll be sorry when we have to leave, but know we will definitely spend time here again.

CURRENT: Indian Creek Campground is the 77th stop for us and we stayed one night. In the past 12 months we have stayed twice and will stay here again when we are in the area. Connectivity is excellent and some of the best we have experienced: WiFi 78.2 down/15.9 up; T-Mobile 88.9 down/6.7 up (nice to finally have some T-Mobile service); Verizon 19.7 down/5.4 up. PREVIOUS: We stayed 3 nights in two different stays at the Indian Creek Campground as we transited to and from Glacier National Park (4 hours away). Just off I-90, it is convenient to a large petrol stop/convenience store. There are 72 sites with some longer term residents who keep their sites generally uncluttered. Check in is quick and the person at the desk has always been pleasant. The utilities work well, especially the WiFi and you have strong cell signal as you are close to the highway. And regarding the highway traffic, I have been 5 sites from the road and there was minimal noise. And in the evening, it drops off significantly. The park met our needs and expectations and would rate a 4.5 but rounded up. Would recommend this park and have booked in 2022 when we return to Montana.
