Greene Bean Coffee

This is a regular watering hole for me and my friends. Today I had the Candy Cane Mocha which is one of their seasonal specialties. It was SO good! I had to order it with oat milk as I am lactose intolerant and they accommodated my request with no problems. I would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful cafe with great vibes. Good coffee, spacious seating and lots of tables to study at. Highly recommend making the drive out to Jefferson!

Matcha lattes!!! Greene Bean Coffee is probably the best place to hang out or meet up with friends in Jefferson. The drinks are delicious, the treats are tasty, and the atmosphere is amazing (ya see what I did there?). If you're in town, you have to go.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Coffee is great and the location provides great places to sit and relax or stay and read, work etc. Have been happy with each visit and they make it right with you if something isn’t to your liking. Great coffee shop and well worth the stop.

Greene Bean is a great place! The coffee is excellent, owners/employees are personable and friendly, and the beautiful art is worth seeing. We drive out of our way to go here when we can.

The best hand crafted coffee you will find anywhere. For a decadent treat, try a creamy caramel or white mocha. A quirky coffee shop in a great town.

Such a aromatic and rustic little place with seasonal coffee options. Coffee is ground in house with the option to buy certain coffees that they have or had. Have been there twice and plan to keep going back when in the area or when the craving is to much to bare lol.

I grew up in Jefferson and was just recently home visiting-and when I visit I go to Greene Bean Coffee!! They have the BEST matcha green tea latte I think I’ve ever had, and I live in Portland Maine where there is a coffee shop on every corner. The inside is charming, the baristas are knowledgeable and the coffee is great! My non binary sibling is also a fan of the small flags displayed around the shop. Cheers!

Pleasant atmosphere and wonderful friendly service. We tried the frozen mocha made with dark chocolate and it was so good.

I appreciate everything about this place. The coffee, the atmosphere, the service, the people. Especially appreciate the fact that you require masks. It’s important for us to support local businesses who have struggled with things over the past year. It’s also important that we show respect for each other. For those who are anti-mask, we all get it. Guess what - those of us who wear them in public are sick of them, too. But that’s not the point. The point is safety against a disease about which much is still not known. The point is protecting our loved ones and the community. Just like wearing shoes and shirts in food and beverage establishments is to avoid contagion. Please don’t trash a business and jeopardize the financial security of those supporting themselves and their families because you don’t want to wear a mask.

Amazing coffee, great employees, great service. The employees know what they're doing when making your drink, you'll always get a great tasting drink. Hours are very convenient.

I haven't been to the coffee shop but, I did buys some beans at HyVee in Perry. My Husband and I love the coffee and will definitely be buying more! I am happy to support a local business!

This is the best coffee you will find in Iowa! To make the experience even better, they employ one of the kindest and freindlyist baristas. Brittanie is one asset that they cannot afford to lose! She has a way about her that brings a smile to your face even on your worst day. She completes this small town's coffee house experience like no other employee can. Don't get me wrong, the other baristas can make your coffee with a friendly attitude but the experience is just not the same when Brittanie is not working. She has achieve the perfect espresso shot every time so you know when you see her working, the drinks are at their very best. I love that they roast their own beans too (the aroma fills our small town air ☺. YUM!).
The owners have made the shop into a cozy place to enjoy your fresh roasted and brewed cup of joe. Make this place a bucket list must! And, If you want to catch the full experience, Brittanie is usually working in the daytime during the week.
