They treat you just like family in here... The food is good, it is authentically made just like 150 years ago in Mexico. Great atmosphere wonderful antique tin panel ceiling and tile floors just like you would want in a Mexican restaurant.. and the food is very delicious it is cooked right and it is hot and the staff and the wait staff are genuine very courteous and extremely attentive to your every need. So folks the next time you're in Clarinda Iowa stop in at El Toro Mexican restaurant you will not be disappointed. The food was good got pretty packed after we arrived it seemed we arrived just in time i ordered the steak burrito 🌯 mi son ordered some 🌮 tacos de carne asada. I added the 🍹margaritas 🍹 as well blended is the way to go very refreshing.

The food is always good and the service is great. They are always so happy to see us even though there is usually 6 kids with us who are loud. They are always so nice to us and they are always so patient. Really really good place to eat foods amazing to

Staff is always friendly. Came in with my friend at least ten times since May. Could probably drink two of the monster margaritas if I pushed myself. They have a good ratio of flavor to actual alcohol.

Everything is always cooked well. I could eat there every week if I had the money lol

Absolutely awesome place, food was good and hot, the staff were attentive and friendly. The salsa was good too, not too watery and not too chunky, a great consistency. The price you pay for the quantity of food is great too.

I work on the road and believe it or not it's hard to find a good restraunt, but I definitely recommend this one if you're coming through Clarinda.

Awesome service, food was piping hot and fresh, portions were perfect, and price is great. Had the Carne Asada burrito and the steak was well seasoned and super tasty. Will definitely be back.

Fun atmosphere, clean building, and delicious food! The chips and salsa were delicious. We had the chicken quesadilla off the lunch menu. It was excellent! We'll be back next time we're in Clarinda.

Their food is great and margaritas are even better. They have take out margaritas that are the cheapest and best around. It’s slightly different food than Mi Casita so both are great places to visit.

Food was fast and good. Wife had a pork burrito and I had a chicken enchilada. Queso blanco was a little runny but still tasty. Attentive staff.
