Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Clarinda

I stayed here with my track team this past weekend and was very impressed by the hotel. it had a nice breakfast and lounge area. the hotel was very well maintained and the room was very very clean!!

Enjoy my stay, very good customer, room was clean the beds were very comfortable. Would stay again when in the area.

We stayed here because my husband was having surgery at the hospital right up the road. The clerk who checked us in was so nice! She gave us a discount since it was a medical visit then asked my husband what his favorite breakfast was and she would make sure it was there Wednesday morning! Was the best biscuits and gravy he'd had in awhile! The lady at the desk that morning even asked how he was doing. That was really appreciated! The rooms were really nice and super clean. Microwave and refrigerator in the room was great since we couldn't go out for a couple days. Beds were wonderful! Would stay there again for sure!

This hotel is simply amazing!!! The staff was polite and rooms were very nice. It was absolutely the cleanest room I have ever stayed in....and I have been in many. The room could have passed a white glove test and the furnishings were in mint condition. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and even the pillows were great. I will have business in Clarinda for a few years to come and have no doubt I will stay here!!!!!

This hotel is always my 1st and only choice of places to stay when I come to visit family in Southern Iowa. It is clean. Staff is super friendly and always there to help. Beds are comfortable tho I do require a step stool to get into it! Don't forget to ask for one if you are 5'3"ish or under!! Breakfasts have always been good tho I don't often eat waffles, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, etc... I've stayed in the hotel with my cousin who did eat all of those things and she said they were all quite good. My only "negative" comment or suggestion is that there needs to be a bar of sorts in the shower for safety purposes. That applies to all people, not just handicapped or seniors. Very nice! Some of the nicest beds in any hotel I have been. Beware, the mattresses are very high off the floor! Rooms are clean. It mostly falls in the no frills category but with it being rather new and clean (and those beds!), I had a good stay. I'm not much of a hotel breakfast person so I can't attest to the quality of what they offer.

My two night stay at this hotel was excellent. Compared with other hotels I have stayed at, this one was very clean, had attractive decor and up to date fixtures. Breakfast was good, and to be noted was that some cold breakfast foods (yogurt, hard boiled eggs) were offered complimentary to guests at any hour.

Clean and comfy rooms. Plenty of breakfast options. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice, brand new hotel. Very accommodating. Front desk staff was amazing. I didn’t see an elevator but I’m sure that you can request a bottom floor if you can’t get up the stairs. The breakfast was great. I have no complaints. We will definitely be back.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet.

I stayed here with a roommate for 2 weeks but went home on the weekend then came back. We had 2 different rooms, the Queen and the Queen Deluxe. The difference is some extra square footage plus an armchair with an ottoman. We chose this hotel over the local Super 8 because it had microwaves and mini fridges in all the rooms, and it was newer. Remember, we were there for 2 weeks, it was cheaper to bring groceries and not eat out very much. The hotel staff were kind and courteous and recognized us when we returned each evening. The fitness room was small but served its purpose, and it was clean. My roommate and I both used it nearly every day. The breakfast was good, and it saved us money on meals as well. When we needed groceries we went to the Fareway next door or the HyVee down the street. We also discovered the patio area had a gas fire pit and a gas grill, but did not have the opportunity to use them. Overall, we had a nice, restful and quiet stay.

Very friendly service. Rooms were clean. It's also within walking distance to a restaurant and grocery store.

Had an amazing stay for the weekend in Clarinda at this hotel! Staff is extremely friendly (Ed Love was very fun to chat with), rooms are modern, everything is clean, and overall comfortable atmosphere. Amazing rates and they also do military/law enforcement discounts. 5 stars all around!

The Cobblestone hotel is very nice and comfortable beds and very nice clean rooms and the breakfast is good ! But I would like to see more hot food selection. But over all it is a really nice hotels! Thank you for the service !!

Had an amazing experience, the staff was friendly and kind. We showed up very late at night and even decided the next day to stay an extra night. Would reccomend. I travel alot for work and this place was like an oasis. Only thing I wasnt a fan of was the breakfast, it was just a little lackluster but far better than most places. Thank you staff. Remember to tip your housekeeper

Very nice hotel,friendly poeple. Corporate has a strange security charge that they will refund if you don't use the in room safe. I find that strange. Either build it in or ask at check in if you want to use the safe.
