Celebrity Inn Clarinda

This motel was amazing! The price was great---less than the nearby Super 8 and my room was amazing. It felt like I was staying at a resort with the great room decor and amenities. The owner at the front desk was super friendly and even had his son help me with my baggage. I loved this motel. I've done a lot of traveling all over the US and this motel is one of the better ones I've stayed at---especially for the price.

My girl friend is a travel nurse and said she liked it so we stayed and I loved it! Quiet peaceful the rooms are very well maintained. If your ever in south west Iowa I highly suggest this place.

$59 for a room in a hotel that was packed but it felt like we were the only ones staying there because everyone was so quiet.
Nicely decorated, clean and you meet the owners how cool is that.
We all felt like we were staying at home including our dog.

As they say! Never judge a book by its cover! It may not be beautiful on the outside, but Lord. It is beautiful on the inside!! The gentleman that was working gave us a good deal! My husband, me and my two small kids(2years and 10months)and also our family dog needed a place to stay. He gave us a discount and the best room! I'm so glad we didn't have to drive an extra hour for a room!! I would highly recommend staying here! The rooms are very clean! 10/10 and they leave the blue cleaner in the toilet when they are done! They also do not charge a fee for the pets!(: I am beyond happy with my stay! This place needs more reviews for how full it is! My only suggestion is to the owner, to update the sign!(: I was expecting a worse situation until we got our room! Thank you!

This the coolest hotel you will ever stay at. The owner is a great guy. The housekeepers are awesome! The rooms are really cool with retro furnishings and decor. A lot of cedar furnishings, so the rooms smell great! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Clarinda.

The owners, Roger and Peggy, are the kindest folks you could ever hope to meet. I felt terrible for arriving very late. They reassured me that it was fine. Take a look at the pictures! This place is not new. It has some character! Bottom line.. the bed was comfortable, the room was perfectly clean and owners were beyond hospitable. I would stay at this place again and again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. Thank you Roger and Peggy for a pleasant and restful nights stay!

This will be our 4th year stay here coming this July 2nd and the 3rd. We are horse pulls and would not stay anywhere else. The owns are super nice. The rooms are fantastic. Never been in a cleaner place. Love the deco as well. Every room is a little bit different. They welcome our 2 little dogs. Super place. Look forward to be there again this year.

It's quiet here at night. Rooms are super clean and beds are comfortable. It has some antique furniture which makes the rooms unique and stylish.
The management staff is friendly and helpful.
It was a wonderful experience staying at Celebrity Inn Clarinda.
Highly recommend!

The lower your fee if your room is not up to your standards

These people are pure hearted people that understand the struggle that life can throw at someone.. we had a house fire and had to get other rooms at different locations, still charged us, no discounts.some even 93$.. celebrity inn opened their rooms up for free!! To house fire victims. And for that is truly amazing.when I get back on my feet I will surely give a donation to show thanks. Because we can't thank you enough.

The room we stayed in was wonderful. You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment. We stayed for 2 nights and was so quiet you would have thought we were the only one's staying there. We weren't though. Thanks for the great experience.

The owner Roger is a wonderful guy! He will take care of your needs the best he can! We enjoyed our peaceful stay. We're come here 2 different times. Highly recommend checking them out!😁👍🏻

The owner is great! The rooms are great! The price is great! If you're in Clarinda and need a place to stay this is where you want to go. The heck with the big franchise hotels. Mom and pop roadside motels are much better and this one is top shelf!

Don't judge a book by its cover! My room was very spacious, clean, sound-proofed, and decked out in a classy wood theme. For $45, I expected the king bed to be a joke, but it was as cozy as my last 5-star room at the Cosmo in Vegas. The only nitpick is the shower had stick-on tiles from a remodel and a few of these were separating from the old porcelain tiles.

I have stayed at the Celebrity Inn several times. The owners "work" the hotel, so the service is like no other. They are very connected in the community, so can point you in the right direction should you have a need or inquiry. Some of the rooms a are little older in decor, but very clean and comfortable. The hotel reminds me of those we stayed in when I was growing up when we traveled to the mountains. Rustic decor, great people, nice ice machine at the end of the hall. Free Internet. My Safe Haven!! Thank you, Thank you! See you again when I am in the area.

I had the pleasure of finding this hidden gem while traveling thru for work and fortunately will be staying here every few weeks for the next 3-4 months. Some of the rooms have been renovated and are themed (rustic Northwoods) ... All I can say is WOW!! The owners (can't even tell you how nice and accommodating they are) definitely take pride in ownership and treat their guests like family. I would highly recommend staying here if you're coming thru this area.

This delightful little motel was clean and cozy, with a very comfy bed and recliner. Loved the decor--don't often have a stuffed mountain lion in your room!

I always stayed here when I am in town. The owners are very friendly. They have really updated the place. Since they do not have handicap rooms, my only suggestion would be to place grab bars in some of the bathtub areas.
