Absolutely amazing! The food was simply delicious and well presented. They were very busy and we did have a large party and our server never missed a beat! No one had to wait for drink refills, All food came out together, Hot, fresh and delicious! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made it such an amazing evening! We will definitely be back and soon!!

5 stars isn't enough, these ladies always do an amazing job. Been living in this town for over ten years and never had 1 complaint about the restaurant as a whole. When anyone asks where a good place to eat we always point them towards Lopez, and will always always HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If there was a bigger word for Great, these ladies always go above Great job.

I ate here on a busy Friday night. Our party of two only had to wait five minutes for a table. Everything from the service, the peach margaritas, chips, salsa, and white queso to the fried shell tacos was absolutely fantastic. It's a good thing I don't live in Atchison, because I would be here all the time. I would be on "My 600 Pound Life" and Dr Now would scold me for eating too many tacos.

Seriously, though, give this small business establishment a try. You'll receive great food, great service, and you'll be helping a small business.

Always have good food here. Fantastic margaritas. Very friendly waiter. He did a great job making sure everything was just the way we ordered. We have been here a couple of times. Lots of family history here! Probably the oldest family restaurant in the Atchison area. Good thing about this restaurant is they have two different kinds of cheese sauce! Good job crew. We will be back again.

This was my first time eating at Lopez and I must say it was very good. I always judge a Mexican place by the salsa and I felt it had good flavor and spice. We even got the hotter salsa and it wasn't overboard with heat wich was nice. The food we received was both good in flavor and in serving size. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in town.

The service was friendly and prompt! The food was fabulous…the enchiladas were so flavorful and served hot; the daily special mini nachos were great tasting!! The salsa was cold and the chips were warm! Best Mexican restaurant in the area!

What a great discovery. Wife and I decided to wonder around a neighboring city and found this little gem. Food is delightfully different than the same old "#1 Speedy Gonzales" and my they are so friendly. Prices are very fair as well

Great food and friendly staff. The grilled chicken salad is my daughter's favorite, and mine is everything. Margaritas go down pretty well, too!

Authentic and delicious. I got the Pork chili burrito and it reminded me of my late grandmother’s homemade Mexican food she would make when we were kids.

I am from El Paso Tx, and I must say this is the best Mexican food outside my home, and I travel quite a bit. All the food has a home cook flavor. If you in the area and are craving homestyle mex food, stop by and have a sitting. I always try Mexican restaurant outside my home to see if they truly are authentic, and this place gets my 5 stars. I would give it more stars if we're possible. A hidden gem.

Always amazing food at a good price! Salsa is the best. Had the Tostadas Dinner today and it was incredible! The beans, rice, and fideo are the best!

Must Experience! This is the place you've been hungry for! I found this little taste of Mexico while doing a GOOGLE search, and I am so glad I did. I am from Kansas City and am visiting little towns under 2 hours away to do little Day Trip Adventures for my vacation. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, so so so delicious.Debi was my waiter, she was delightful. The decor was cool, even old photos of the Lopez Family, I liked that little history. And I have to add, the Chips & Salsa were maybe among the best I've ever had. Plus they give you a huge serving of Salsa which is great since I practically drink that stuff. Yes, It's so good that if you are within 2 hours of this place, I'd pack up the car for a day trip and check it out, you won't regret it.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Town! Also, the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! As someone who lives here in Atchison, this is my family's go to for all things Mexican. They are also very supportive of our community and we love them for that!

Had a wonderful experience! The food is almost always excellent and 8 got to see Gail again which is always awesome. She is always on the ball and no matter how long it's been, she always remembers my order. She's a treasure and she makes the whole experience complete.
