Did great work on one of our cars, fast same-day diagnosis and repair. They were also able to get us in within a couple business days which was perfect.

they do an honest job at very fair prices. Often times, The biggest headache we have is when mechanics don’t know whether they can fix something & waste your time about it.

Mark Trokey's Automotive has been recommended to me by many neighbors for years. I needed brakes and made an appointment. They prefer that you drop off your vehicle between 7:30-8:30 am. They diagnosed what my needs were and called with a cost estimate. The price was very reasonable! They didn't overly inflate the cost of parts like many corporate places do. My car was done before lunch. Very honest and efficient! Waldo has many auto repair shops, but this one is a keeper!

Went in again today and Curtis handled my current car issue with the utmost professionalism. The other car shop down the street was going to charge me $100 just to look at my car. Went there because of a recommendation from a friend and could not have been happier with the service. Brought in a pickup I had recently purchased which had a check engine light and the cigarette lighter didn't work. Didn't care about the cigarette lighter but wanted to be able to use the outlet for charging my phone. Turned out the check engine was a blown fuse and a loose gas cap. The cigarette lighter element was bad but the plug was fine which is all I needed. First time there and Curtis told me "No charge, we will charge you when there is really something to fix". I ended up getting an oil change and the hood latch and struts replaced but not because he suggested it. Very honest and very helpful. I'll definitely go back when I need something else.

I have been a fan since I first went there. The Chevy dealer told me my engine was blown and too expensive to repair. Took it to Trokey's and they found the problem was a bad spark plug. Trokey's only does what you tell them to do, but they will advise you on what you should do. Appointments are usually required for this honest and reasonably priced auto repair shop. I highly recommend Trokey's.

I recently moved down the street from Mark Trokey's shop. I was excited when I read all of the good reviews because it meant I would have a great auto service shop very close to my house. I've now been in twice and both times had 5 star service. Everyone explained everything clearly to me and answered all of my questions. I had what was probably a dumb question about engine oil and Kevin took the time to respectfully answer my question and explain everything to me (thanks, Kevin). He let me know they do things differently than the shop at the dealer because he wants my car to last me as long as possible.
Today I stopped in with a nail-punctured tire. Mark provided excellent service and had me out of there with a repaired tire in 15 minutes or so.
I'll now take my car to this shop every time I need service done and should I ever need repairs I'll take it here for that as well.

This shop is close to my house and the reviews were great so decided to try them out for front brakes and oil change. My only regret is not finding them earlier. I was able to make appointment quickly, very friendly, helpful, quality and extremely fair prices. So glad to find them!

Honest and conscientious. No surprises. They don't do unnecessary work and they take the time to explain exactly what's wrong with your car and how they're going to fix it. Curtis is an outstanding mechanic who has kept my 17 year old Focus running great for the last 7 years.

I bring my car here because they're straight with me about what it needs and what it doesn't, because the prices they charge for what it needs are fair and because finding out what it doesn't need costs me nothing at all.
The work is reliably done and completed on time and for the agreed upon price.

You will not find a more capable mechanic in KC. Mark understands the principle of "root cause" - you fix the actual problems, not the symptoms. He doesn't just try to replace parts to fix problems. He will identify the actual cause. He may not be the cheapest in town, but if you don't want to bring your car back a second time for the same problem, he's the one to go the first time!

Wen't here by the recommendation of a friend. Guys are very knowledgeable and nice. they did a great job for the exact price they quoted and I will be back. They are the type of guys you know won't take advantage of people who don't know about cars. Would recommend.

I can not recommend Mark Trokey highly enough. They are fair, honest, and do great work. They clearly care about their customers. I won’t go anywhere else so long as I live in Kansas City

The Trokeys are AMAZING. They will tell you straight, make sure you understand, not charge you outrageous amounts and even not charge you for taking a look. I LOVE them and will always go to them.
