Gomer's South

I found this place by going to an importers site(Storicawines) and seeing this place listed. I was looking for Armenian wines and this place does sell a white wine from that country. I talked to the buyer for this store for a minute and she told me that it has a olive taste to it which sounds interesting to me. I had also previously tried the red wine from Zulal made using Areni grapes and really liked it as well so another reason I bought the white. The employees working were all nice and I had a good checkout experience. These wines are still unknown to many people at this time so it's still a niche wine but so worthy of consideration. I was checking out the importers site and I saw that they have many Armenian sparkling wines which would be really interesting to try out in the future.

I was able to speak with the owner. He reviewed my transaction and corrected the error.

He had me come in and speak with him directly. Customer service is a huge pet peeve of mine. I know how to treat people therefore I expect everyone to do the same!

He took care of me. And assured me that he would fix the issues I mentioned going forward.

He is a great guy! Accountability is everything to me! I appreciate the urgency that you took to rectify the situation. I will be back in the future! Thank you so much!

Fantastic! Greeted as I entered.Had EXACTLY the brand of wine I could not find any where in my surroundings! Well stocked.Neat and clean. My place to go for now on.

This is one of my favorite liquor stores. They have a great selection of craft beer that is cold and the staff is knowledgeable ab friendly. The wine and liquor selection is very good and the prices are better than most other stores.
The line is always short so you can make a quick in and out run without fighting the crowd.

They have beer tasting almost every Friday from 4pm-6pm and wine tasting on Saturday.

Got what needed. They don't carry the 12 pack of small cans of Lime-A-Rita which I wanted, only the 25 oz singles which is too big for me most of the time. I settled for Sol, a beer from Mexico that is great with fresh lime juice and a little sugar served over ice. Great summer drink, plus it goes well with a K C Chiefs game

They had everything we needed plus my favorite! 99 brand in all kinds of flavors and the party bucket!

Was able to purchase what I have been looking for , for a long time and at a reasonable price .

We purchased all of our alcohol for our wedding from Gomers and they were super helpful in making sure we didn't order too much and helped find options that were within our budget. They also helped us find our bartenders! Very friendly and accommodating! Thank you!

Hilarious staff - they are pretty funny and also pretty knowledgeable of the beer selection. I learned a lot at the beer tasting that they hold on Fridays. Interesting to try new things. I also went to a wine tasting event and it was packed - but very neat to try all the different types of wine. I even splurged to buy a bottle I had never tried before!

I went to Gomer's for the first time two days ago, and the employees there were very nice. They answered the many, many questions I had, and not once did they get fed up with me. When I'm in the area again, I will definitely be making a stop at Gomer's!

Best liquor store in KC. These guys especially are ones to trust. They have always taken the time to help me find the right bottle for me. Their special barrell's always seem to be the best selections of the KC area.

This location is magnificent. Staff is friendly and helpful, lots of selection, reasonable prices. I've heard they can help you stock your party and make deciding what to buy easy. Highly recommend

They had a "make your own six pack" that i really enjoyed. It's a cool way to try new things without buying full 6 packs. Im more lonely to come here for that to keep experimenting rather than go to other liquor stores.
