Centennial Dog Park

Dixie and Maverick both love coming here with us. Gives her more room to run and retrieve the toys we bring with us. There are toys already on the property along with a huge pavilion to sit under. There's a larger dog run and a smaller dog run.

Great place when it snows there is also a dog park and a regular park baseball Dimonds within walking distance.

Only Dog Park in Newton. Usually quite a few dogs playing here, but rarely is it too many. Good place to just hang out with your Pooches. It is large and there are to sides for the dogs. One for the smaller guys and one for the Big.

My dogs love the park! Great park well maintained. Has two entrances but only one is open? Otherwise very well maintained! Just remember let dogs be dogs!

I wouldn't mind if somebody was there with their beast, but it was sure nice having the whole dog park to ourselves. Nice

Great place to hang out with your dog! Lots of friendly humans as well. 2 fenced in areas with lots of space to run. They even have balls and throwers there to use!

Update: 3/7/2020 The evergreen trees have been removed and now there is a shaded picnic bench plus table. Very nice!

Two separate fenced parks, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. I have been only in the small one. There's a drink fountain, picnic table with attached benches and 1 separate bench and a doggie bag station to clean up waste. Sadly a lot of people are lazy and refuse to clean up after their dog, I started to clean up after other dogs and finally gave up. Two huge evergreen trees and grass that has a lot of burrs in it. It will take time to get rid of those. For dogs that have long soft hair this might not be the best place to visit as you will be picking burrs by the hand full. Painful for dog and owner. Other than that, a fantastic place!

It is a very nice, clean, safe place to take you best friend to play. It is a great place not only for your dog to socialize but you as well. We have found that the community of puppy parents that use Centennial Dog Park are always friendly.

Centennial Dog park has a great set up for all types of pups! There is a section for small dogs and another for large dogs. Both entries for the kenneled areas are double gated to ensure the safety and lack of escaping for dogs. Each of the parks also is equipped with a hydrant, water fountain w/dog water fountain/bowl attached. We didn't spend any time in the small doggy side but in the large dog area there is also a bench for the humans to sit back and watch their pup(s)!

❤ the separate spaces for large and small dogs. Mine is large and often smaller dogs are intimidated by the lumbering beast just wanting to play with ANYONE. This can lead to anxious behavior by the little dogs and thief owners and create problems.

Just found out about this hidden gem the other day. I've taken my dog every day since I found out it was there. It's awesome! My dog is always exhausted by the time we leave. He gets so much more exercise then he does on walks and he gets to socialize at the same time!

A great place for dogs and their humans to hang out!

Very nice park. I just wish there was a small playground close for kids to be able to play on while I was playing with my dog in the dogpark.

We were using it for star gazing but the Dog Owners love the Park

There is a great community that gathers here. Our dog loves this place. We can't say "dog park" in our house unless we're going here.

Free, well maintained, dog owners look out for each other. Met friendly dog owners. My puppy is always happy to be there.

Nice park with plenty of room for big dogs to run. Good vibes from other owners too.

Even though there weren't any other dogs for ours to play with, we all had a wonderful time.
