Ignite Wood Fire Grill

My wife and I love Ignite. We’ve been there a handful of times. They have excellent staff, timely service, a contemporary atmosphere and great food.

Tonight I ordered the burger. It was probably among the top 10% of burgers in town. It wasn’t life changing but still very good. My wife spoke highly of the soup.

If you’re looking for a place with a solid atmosphere and great food, give Ignite a shot.

We started with the Cuban croquettes, which were packed with flavor, but a warning, if you do not like mustard, I would stay away. Fortunately for me, I love mustard

I had the scallops which where in a vindaloo sauce that was as good as any Indian I've had in the area and wasn't too spicy.

My friend had the whole chicken (but had white meat only) and said the chicken was moist and delicious. She also had the loaded mash and macaroni, which I also tried. Both were rich and had tons of flavor.

We finished with the cheesecake, which was topped with a cherry glaze that was incredibly sweet, but not TOO overpowering.

Our server was excellent and took care of us throughout the night.

Updated to include pics from a recent brunch. Great appetizer bar with pastries, shrimp, breakfast casserole, charcuterie, and more, as well as a great brunch menu, all for $18/person. This brunch was WELL worth it and I will be back!

Most customers dont know about the secret here; the chefs counter! You can eat back where the chefs prepare the meals. You get fed extra samples of appetizers, discuss menu selections with the head chef that creates the specials and just terrific treated a little different. 2 hrs can go by quickly back here by just enjoying the restaurant. Oh, and striped bass and lamb chops were excellent!

Both the salmon and the scallop dishes were delicious! The side dish for salmon was too salty. The waiter brought us an extra side of vegetable, curry cauliflower with pine nuts, and it was delicious, too!

This place is amazing. The staff are very professional and friendly, always making great recommendations. The food was nothing short of perfection. Between the Rigatoni Pasta to the Fire Grilled Atlantic Salmon, finishing off with a Cheese Cake of which I've never had better; stop what you're doing and find time to come here. Plan on paying a bit more but know that your money is well spent for a singularly impressive dining experience.

Very good experience. The staff was very helpful and attentive but not annoyingly so. Went there for restaurant week and they have a separate menu for it. Very good options and everything was very delicious. I had the potato soup, 10oz kc strip cooked exactly how I specified with loaded mashed potatoes and a fantastic cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Everything tasted great.

I got the ahi tuna this time and it was amazing. The last time I was here I had the scallops, and they were delicious as well. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you are looking for a nicer place to eat. The servers are friendly and helpful, although it hasn't been busy while I was there during lunch.

Both times I have been here were for a work lunch, I don't think I would make it to this area otherwise

An absolute awesome dining experience. Food cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, service was 5 star, ambiance was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Excellent weekend brunch! It's really geeat food for foodies. The carrot cake is the only I've ever tasted that tops my mother's. I'll be back!

We went here for restaurant week and we will definitely be returning. Everything we ate was flavored masterfully and tasted fresh. The meat was cooked perfectly to be cooked through while still juicy... The atmosphere is more laid back than I expected but would still be a good location for a fancy date. Our server was friendly and helpful. There are a couple meeting rooms inside that I bet could be rented out for events (it would be a really cool event space!) So yummy! I can't say it enough!

Wonderful atmosphere and staff. The cornbread and enchiladas were delicious and everyone in my party of 10 loved their appetizers, meals and drinks. A fantastic addition to Lenexa. We will definitely be back often!

Food is very good. Limited draft beer selection. Good wine selection and excellent specialty cocktail place. Very nice outdoor bar and eating area.

Great variety and taste. Lamb chops and tuna were delicious! Perfectly seasoned, generous serving size, and just the right tenderness. Friendly Texan ambiance. Lots of seating even during prime dinner hours.

What an unforgettable meal! Staff was great! The food was unique and was obviously prepared using the highest quality ingredients. The prices were very reasonable as well! I will return!

Tried Ignite for first time on Easter for brunch and it did not disappoint. Food was all prepared well, tons of options on buffet including lamb and the choices for entrees were excellent. $8 for first mimosa and $1 for subsequent ones is a great deal. Beautiful space too. We’ll be back!

Delicious Sunday brunch! Absolutely worth a try and a worthy addition to any foodie's rotation.

Are here for restaurant week. Some of the best food I've had, definitely top 3 in Lenexa area. Super nice atmosphere too.

Our server was Will, he was awesome!! The best waiter I have ever encountered, we will for sure be requesting him in the future! Our food was good, I got the hanger steak (cheapest) and it was an excellent lean steak. The sides were all great. We got the chips and dip and that was awesome as well. We will absolutely return, great food and excellent service!

Our family stopped here for lunch on a Sunday and ran across their FANTASTIC brunch! It was absolutely delicious - amazing choices of appetizers, made-to-order entrees, and desserts - all for one price! We have been to many brunches in the KC area, and this is the best by far! The service was amazing as well! Let’s not even mention their amazing bloody, mimosa and belini bar!! We will definitely be back!! Stop here on a Sunday - you will not regret it!!
