Academy Sports + Outdoors

Awesome spot for everything outdoors, sports, and then some. Their shoe selection is always top notch. Everything clothing and sports accessories is amazing. I could go on and on but you really have to come see it for yourself. Definitely Recommended.

Very nice store. Academy prices, not something in generally into, but good for those who can afford it. Lots of supplies in different sizes for those looking. Friendly staff. Good dressing room area. Good experience.

Great prices and selection. Best place for camping supplies, fishing stuffs of ALL types. Almost made finding a reasonable priced, perfect size and color harder than it need to be by haveing so many choices. Lol 😆

I was always a DSG guy when it came to my sports equipment, I had never been in an Academy Sports. The first time I stepped into one, the first thing I saw was the BodyPower Spinbike and I knew it was what I wanted. I made that first purchase and even got a credit card. Since then, I always turn to Academy Sports for all my equipment needs, I haven't been to a DSG...I have purchased rollerblades, dumbbells, kettlebells, Nike clothing, Olympic weight plates and more at Academy...I bought myself a Nike basketball and a squat rack for my birthday last week... In store selection is always good, service is fairly good, if you go looking for help you will get it. Checkout is usually fast and easy.
If I had anything to complain about, it would be that most Academy Sports locations are fairly far from where here I live in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. But it's always worth it for me. I recommend Academy Sports.

Always easy to go grab whatever ammo I need. Quick and easy to find on the shelves. Haven’t had the best experience with the firearm sales associates so I shop elsewhere for that.

Best prices on running shoes. I always find the best deals at this store. They also have a really great line of sports clothing. They sell a nice selection of guns as well with knowledgeably sales people. Always a great experience with great prices..

I like going to Academy Sports because they have a few front end employees that are so organized and knowledgeable. When I shop online for kids sports related items , they almost always have the lowest price.

I enjoy this place too much. No such thing as a quick trip for one thing and get out. Sales, clearances, full shelves all mean I must browse. Staff is helpful and they know the store as well as their particular areas. Waiting for Academy to move in to Nebraska and save me the half day drive!!

This place has got some really good outdoors stuff for some pretty reasonable prices. Husband and I like this store alot, although the employees could be a bit more friendlier, especially the cashiers.

I came screaming into the parking lot at closing-time on a Friday night because my daughter had forgotten to pack her cleats. They were gracious to us and let us in to purchase a pair.

I had a firearm transferred to the store & the process was very easy. The employees were knowledgeable & friendly. A couple notes to consider if purchasing or picking up a firearm from Academy...

- The 4473 background check form is done digitally & on a tablet. If you're not comfortable using this technology I don't recommend Academy

- If a firearm is purchased elsewhere & you want to ship to this store, there is a $40 FFL transfer fee that you'll need to pay if you pass the background check & before you can walkout with the firearm.
