Mickey Automotive

We’ve been taking our cars to Mickey for several years now and can’t say enough about his integrity, superb workmanship and pricing. On more than one occasion, he has gone above and beyond, like the time he went out of his way on a parts hunt to repair the broken hatch handle on my old SUV, and returned it to perfect working order at a price far below what I’d expected. If I could give ten stars, I would!

Mickey had been my mechanic for forty years. There is no one I trust more. He's experienced, honest, reasonable and service oriented. Most recently my water pump failed on a Wednesday. It required a half day's work (at the least) and his schedule was full for 8-9 business days. I didn't expect to get my car back until a week from next Monday. Two days later, on Friday evening, Mickey called me to let me know he had replaced the water pump. He stayed late and came in early to get it done. Amazing service.

Our whole family takes our cars to Mickey's for repairs in fact we are using them again September of 2020. This place is awesome! They are friendly,honest,reasonable, they only do the work you want done. They are the very best mechanics around we never have to take our cars back . We value their business tremendously. It's hard finding a place you can trust. We feel you can feel completely safe there.

Mickey always does a great job! It's very hard to find an honest mechanic, but Mickey is just that. I would highly recommend him.

Mickey's Automotive is the type of business you hear about from word of mouth and feel so lucky to learn of. Mickey is honest, takes pride in his work, and is an excellent mechanic.

I have taken my cars to Mickey since the 80's. I think he is simply as good at what he does as anyone I have ever known. I have never known a person I would trust more. He somehow seems to set an example for the rest of the World as a hard worker, an honest man, and a patient man, without the greed most of us demonstrate.

I am an engineer that has been pretty good at fixing stuff since I was a child. I think I compete on a pretty high level with most technicians but I certainly look up to Mickey!

I hesitate to write this review for fear it will bring him more business but when you admire someone you just want to say something.

Most honest guy I've ever met! Wonderful mechanic. Even being 4 hours away at college I try to only get my oil changed and maintenance done here because I know he'll give me the best deal and the most honest assessment of my car.

If you want honest service and not be taken advantage of, Mickeys is the place to go. His prices are reasonable. We have come here for years.

Mickey is amazing! Helpful, honest, reliable! We just hope he trains a replacement for the day he retires, otherwise, it’ll be hard to find anyone as good!

Best mechanic in KC, hands-down. Recently fixed another mechanic's major mistake in one day and didn't even charge us the full price. Have never had a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and go here first.

referred to Mickey by another Mechanic who doesn't do allignments and was very impressed. Didn't need the alignment I was scheduled for and he saved me a lot of money. I'll be taking all my mechanical business to Mickey in the future.

Honest. Does exactly what he says. One place told me I needed a new transmission, Mickey checked it out and it was just a belt that needed replacing. He's the Best!
