McPherson Water Park

First time here and from out of town...Currently there is what looks like 200 people, but it only feels like 40. As we entered the park an area YMCA was showing up with another 40 people. I was dreading coming in. However once you're in the pool enclosure it really opens up. They have a giant water slide, an amazing lazy river (for a local pool), 2 great kiddie sections, diving boards, and lap lanes. It feels pretty busy in the kiddie sections where I spent most of the time with my 3 kids. One kid section puts you in the actual pool. The other is more of a water park with sprinkles, fountains, etc... There is, also, TONS of seating to just enjoy the warm sun. But plenty of places to sit in the shade. Although the shaded areas do get kind of cramped and fill up quick. All in all this is a very nice facility and I will bring my family back here when we visit.

For the price, it's really a very nice water park. It would definitely be nice if they had some lockers that would lock for your key and supplies. There were a handful of lockers outside that mentioned bringing your own locks though I didn't actually see where you could put one in.

It has a nice little lazy River as well as a water pad. There's one very small child water slide and one relatively good sized water slide for those over 42 in.

Lots of fun for everyone on a hot day! Entrance fee is only 5$ for up to6 or 7hours of fun. The lazy river is on the short side but still can entertain for hours. All in all a good place to hang out on a hot day.

It's a lovely Waterpark we enjoy going we have kids from ages 5 to 9 and there is something for each of them to do they love the lazy river and the incline into the pool is great for little kids

Fun place to go with my kids, nephews and sister in-law!

I took my boy and we had a wonderful time. The employees were courteous and the pool was pretty relaxed. There were kids there with all sorts of water toys. Best lazy River I have ever been to

Awesome place! They do not have lots of ridiculous rules like Rock River. Good ratio of life guards to people, and they are constantly rotated around. Must be 42" to go down the big slide fyi. Lazy river is awesome as well. Definitely my new favorite water park.

Great family fun place. The pool has a tone of space and the lazy river is a nice bonus. Life guards are attentive and the music choice is good. Last day to swim and it was a much enjoyed family day outing. And yes they have a kids splash park and also a kids slide so something for everybody.

We really enjoyed our visit, and will definitely go back. We live 35miles away, and it's well worth the drive. Reasonable prices on food, drinks and gate pass ... my 5yr old grand daughter felt comfortable enough to jump off the high dive!!!

This is a great public pool. I attended my great nephews birthday party there this past weekend, we had a blast thank you!

This was such a great time! We loved the place and it was our first time. Lifeguards were nice and smiling like they wanted to be there. Slides and pool were enough fun to keep us there for 3 hours. Food was cheap and filling for me and the kids. Love this place!

Clean and family friendly. Reasonable prices, for example the snack bar a small slushie and popcorn was $1.50. Many lifeguards and very attentive to the guests. Slides, lazy river, easy access, splash area and plenty of space to just sit and sun or read in the shade.

I have always had good times at the water park! It's a great places for families with small children as the lifeguard do not tolerate inappropriate behavior. They are pleasant but strict with their rules making it a safe place for everyone!

Nice place fun for all ages and levels of swimmers. Loved the lazy river, and enjoyed the choices of shade if you want to get out of the sun for awhile.

Had an awesome time beating the heat. Keeps 4 guys entertained. All the interactions we had with staff was very pleasant and polite. We will definitely be coming back!

Best pool around !! Life guards really ON IT !! Relaxing and plenty of chairs for everyone !! Very clean :) Could be a little more reasonable in price for admission ....like a family discount or just even cut the prices by 25-50% .......so everyone can enjoy !!

It's been a great place to exercise by water walking or lap swimming. It's a good family-friendly atmosphere and just the right size to keep track of your kids.
