Main Street Deli

This is one of my favorite places in town. You can come anytime and get some good food. My favorite food if the General Sandwich because it has their famous jam on it. I think it takes the sandwich to the next level. Also I really like the decor. It's so interesting. They also have some home made pies which I hear are the best.

Enormously filled with greatness! Reasonably priced for the whole Italian and the wait was short. Even with lack of staff, the timing was quick. If you need a job, they're hiring!

Incredible place if you’re in the area. Staff is very friendly and the ambiance is amazing. The food was top notch in all areas, will be coming back whenever I am in town. Highly recommend.

It's a cozy place with a nice chill atmosphere. They had a delicious daily sandwich which was a great option to get a good feel for the place. The staff was super friendly and the food was ready pretty fast! I definitely should've gotten a full sandwich because the half left me wanting more, so go full if you've got an appetite! They've also got a fun section for small gifts or knick knacks as well.

This is the best quality sandwich shop in McPherson, Kansas. The gourmet ingredients and friendly service help make this one of the best eating experiences in this town ; and the sandwiches only contribute a small part to their success. There are high quality cookies, cakes, pies, soups, bread bowls and a clean environment on top of all the great and varied sandwiches. Every time I've had an order here take longer than 10 minutes its because they are packed with a line literally going out the door and onto the sidewalk along with them being a small and relatively understaffed restaurant. Their prices are on par with the subway down the street which only hammers in how good of a deal you are getting by eating there instead of the place with purportedly fake tuna and bread that is legally considered a dessert. Eat here. P.S. get rid of the gift shop, its lame.

The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! The club sandwich (with extra cheese and extra bacon) is seriously the best sandwich I've ever eaten. The peanut butter and chocolate pie is absolutely lovely, a perfect blend of peanut butter (with peanuts), chocolate and whipped cream. I thought was going to be too sweet but it wasn't. It was perfect! The strawberry cheesecake was heavenly. I would post pictures to accompany this review but the food is just so darn good, I don't have time to waste and just get straight to business, eating the wonderful food. I can't believe I never knew of this nice place until just 2 weeks ago. I'm thankful that I know of it now. LOVE IT!!!

Excellent!! As a chef, it's really hard to find a good place to get a well made, and tasty, sandwich in Kansas. So glad I decided to go here instead of another place. Bread soup bowl was really good too. Love the shop up front as well. I reccomend this place to anyone in the mood for a delicious sandwich. We will be back soon.

Delicious food and even better service. Main street deli is an adorable comfortable place to meet for lunch with friends. Each sandwich is made fresh and brought to your table. My favorite is the chicken salad but I've heard people rave about everything on the menu. Additionally they have a nice gift selection with unique items you won't find elsewhere. Worth a stop every time you are in Mac.

All love to this place. The Main Street Deli has offered quality food, atmosphere, staff, and gifts. It's a great to enjoy as a family or for friends and co-workers. Always recommend the lemon Italian wedding cake or chocolate chip cookies.

Main Street Deli in McPherson is phenomenal. Masks required with great signs showing the correct way to wear them. Employees were masked properly and very welcoming. Pick up/take out only. Lots of neat stuff to browse while your food is being made.

Every opportunity we have to stop in McPherson for a sandwich is a great day! Good food, great service, warm atmosphere. A fantastic alternative to the "Fast Food" experience. The wife and I split a whole sandwich and then splurge on pie. Yummy!

Great place to stop for lunch. The potato soup was great and so was the sandwich selection. There is also an adorable gift shop at the front of the deli. We will definitely stop here again when traveling through Central Kansas

Really good food with a nice variety to satisfy all tastes. Soup, sandwiches, salads, homemade pies, cookies, and really cute and different gifts and novelties. Children's menu, too. Friendly, locally owned and operated right in downtown with walking access to multiple shopping locations.

Always a must when visiting McPherson! The broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl has always been my favorite. 20+ year customer! The gift shop is also a great place to find one of a kind items. Keep up the good work!

Kim and her staff always provide a good experience at the Deli. The Reuben sandwich is my favorite and soup in a bread bowl can't be beat! Often I will try the "Featured Sandwich" to branch out a little and I am never disappointed!

Oh my the best place in McPherson for lunch. The sandwiches, soups & desserts will fill you up. My favorite place to go every time I'm back in town. The Ruben and soup bowls are my favorite.

The food was delicious. There was plenty of seating. I loved looking through the little gift shop. The decor and atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming.
