Fantastic restaurant! Server was super friendly and proficient. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge!
I won’t hesitate to go out of my way to eat here again!

We found this gem of a restaurant while traveling thru town and couldn't be happier that we stopped. The decor is cute, the waitress was great, and the food (we had the buffet) was amazing! If you are in the area you definitely need to stop!

A must stop for our family when we are in town. The people are so kind, locals & staff and the food is always great. Can't wait to go back "Down Home"

Had the Chicken Fried Steak with 2 eggs and hashbrowns. Very good food cooked the way I wanted it. Wait staff is on it. Definitely stopping next time I'm in the area.

It's my favorite place to eat when we are at home. I truly enjoy the accommodations they make for us as per we don't eat toast or hashbrowns. We enjoy eating here each time we are home. Thank you.

The food at this place is consistently delicious! Not only that, but the staff are absolutely incredible. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Their lunch buffet is also worth mentioning—it's quite good. I must say, their fried chicken is particularly yummy! It's a bit disappointing that they're not open for supper at the moment, but you can always catch them for a satisfying breakfast or lunch experience.

We didn't have to wait for early breakfast but it looked more crowded when we left. Staff, wait staff, owner are wonderful. They serve quick and help each other out with coffee and drink refills, clearing plates away etc. Walls are decorated with fun local stuff.

Good food, great prices and nice atmosphere..

First off, they weren't kidding when they said the pancakes were big. IMO, they are not big, they're huge. The flavor is absolutely wonderful. I had the country breakfast, and everything was cooked wonderfully. Our elwaitress was very attentive and spot on with everything. I will be recomending this place to anyone who passes through Independence and hungry.

We had the lunch buffet. Loved the fried chicken. Have it on good authority the breakfast buffet is even better.

Food were good and portion size for the pancakes 🥞 were huge. And my husband were happy with the price ☺
