Homewood Suites by Hilton Salina Downtown

Our recent stay at the Homewood Suites in Salina KS was probably the best we've ever had on a cross country trip.

The hotel is conveniently located in the historic part of town, in a very safe area, about 10 minutes south of Interstate 70. The remarkable architecture of the building gives you a unique and warm feel because it is unlike any of the customary hotels found along interstates and highways today. Parking is located across the street from the hotel, and the access to the lobby is quick and easy.

The hotel staff is professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful. You need something, they're on it. Check-in was a breeze. No hidden charges or surprises at check out.

The best part of our stay was the suite that we had for the night. It was spacious, and like the rest of the hotel, was bright, refreshing, quiet and incredibly clean. The icing on the cake, however, were the beds and pillows. You couldn't have asked for more a more comfortable combination after a long day on the road.

The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of selections. It was in a clean, bright, spacious dining area, staffed by a friendly and conscientious staff.

We can't say enough nice things about this incredible find. It might be a few dollars more than the crowded, noisy hotels along the highway, but it's worth every single penny. Will definitely stay here again.

My stay here for a work summit was great! The staff was nice, courteous, and always available. The lobby and outside spaces were perfect and the hotel decor was great and clean! My room was magical, it was large, had a separate shower and tub/shower for options. The bed was perfect, large, and cozy. The location to the shopping spaces was a short ten minute drive and had great options to choose from. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend staying here when visiting Salina!

I have nothing negative to say about this lovely property! It was comfortable and luxurious at the same time. From the decor, to the cleanliness, to the amazing service, it was a great way to kick start our family vacation. A special shout out to the morning breakfast worker Annette, who was helpful and genuinely kind. Hope to see you all again when we come through Salina next time!

It is rare that you have such an incredible experience that you feel you HAVE to leave a review. We were worried about our first hotel trip with a 1 year old. All of the workers here were beyond accommodating to us. Tahnika in particular is maybe the kindest human on earth! Absolutely the best service we have ever had at a hotel. Plus the hotel itself was beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have stayed here and I tried to respond to the Hilton survey but it expired so I'll come here.
1) I can't remember the receptionists name but she greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. It starts a stay off on the right foot.
2) The rooms are big and great for a family of 4.
3) The lobby and restaurant are clean and a great place to sit with a drink and relax.
If going through Salina, highly recommend.

Homewood Suites in Salina has the kindest staff and has the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. I thought the hotel was built just months before as wear and tear is not prevalent anywhere. Additionally, Melanie at the front desk is incredible! Professional, kind, quick to offer assistance and resolution. This hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. I will be back!

I travel between Baltimore and Denver a few times a year. I don’t set a high bar for my stays… I like to see that the place is safe, the sheets have actually been washed, and that, in general, the place is clean. I stay a mid-level Hiltons and Marriots. When I saw that there was a Homewood Suites in Selena, KS that got 5 out of 5 stars I had a hard time believing it. But this place is, without a doubt, 5 out of 5 stars. If there are any lower ratings I would question the reviewer. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is ridiculously nice, and the place is immaculate. My OCD can get pretty bad at times so this says a lot. This hotel could compete with a Four Seasons if The Four Seasons had mid-range hotels. The front desk person was so incredibly nice… but then, while waiting for the elevator, one of the office workers went out of their way to smile and say “Have a good night!”. The place is cleaner than clean and looks like a newly opened hotel. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. If you’re ever within a few hundred miles of Salina, do yourself a favor, and stay at this hotel. It made a mundane trip wonderful. I will definitely be staying here again.

Remarkably, for such a small and remote city, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in nationwide. The common areas are beautifully appointed, the guest rooms are spotless and very comfortable, the breakfast buffet is top-notch, there's ample free parking, the staff is courteous and professional. You can't ask for more!

Don't understand why this is a three star because this should be a four star. This is a fantastic hotel and beautiful hotel. We stay no less than three stars, and this was the best from leaving Florida. The town is fantastic here. 👌

We visited this location and it was top notch! The room front desk and everything in between! The gym was a 10! Very nice. If you’re looking for a nice getaway this is the place. Don’t let the small town fool you it definitely has a big heart! Will return in the future!

What a delightful experience staying here! Staff was very professional, room was spacious and quiet. Bonus is YaYa's, the Mediterranean restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Great food!

Amazing hotel in the heart of Salina Kansas! Beautiful building, great staff, breakfast, indoor pool, workout facility, laundry room, Starbucks in the building, and YaYa’s restaurant is delicious also attached to the building. Will return again!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Nice patio area, spacious seating for breakfast. They have a Starbucks and a bistro in the hotel. The room was very clean and felt cozy. Nice and quiet area as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, beautifully decorated, the free breakfast was good and rotates selections. The amenities were way above my expectations.

Excellent hotel stay! The accommodations were top notch. Not to mention Ya Yas Euro Bistro was connected to the hotel!! If & when I ever get to Salina again this is where I want to stay & dine!

We'd never stayed at a Homewood Suites before and honestly weren't expecting all that much from a budget hotel chain in Salina, KS, but ended up being pretty blown away by our experience.

This hotel is either brand-new or very recently renovated. The building is huge and modern and right in the heart of downtown Salina -- yet also convenient to the interstate.

The staff was friendly, parking was super easy, and I'm not sure if perhaps we were upgraded, but our room was huge, with two king beds, a very spacious bathroom, and separate living and kitchen areas.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. We'll definitely be looking to stay at home Homewood Suites going forward based on our excellent experience here.

This is a very nice brand new hotel. Great atmosphere, huge rooms, with great amenities and a nice downtown location.

This hotel is gorgeous! I felt like we were staying at a fancy resort. The rooms are spacious, clean and staff is friendly and professional. Decor is beautiful and entire hotel is lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here last August. I love this place. The room is a little high, but it'll be worth it. A more luxury hotel to me so spoil yourself here! The breakfast is excellent you won't go hungry. The room has a small kitchen. I believe they are all suites. Very comfortable eating area. Since it's in the downtown area, it's convenient for eating and shopping.
