Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I was lucky to pick the hotel next to Freddy's. Having never heard of it but it was within walking distance. Maybe one of the best fast food burgers I've ever had....better than Jack N The Box, In and Out (I never thought I'd say that) and definitely better than 5 Guys. Just wish we had one back home.

First time trying out this place and it was sooo good. I definitley wish they'd come to Iowa. Their fries are so tasty. The burgers are extremely gooood! Love this place!

I go here frequently. Some of the workers know me, ask me about my kids & pets if they are missing & it is one of the reasons I go back often. I have not had a negative interaction ever. I have seen the employees be patient & kind at some of the most trying times. There's been a couple times things have been missing, they have gone above what other places do when I've had the same thing happen. They do pup cups too! Don't know what else I could want. 😁

The food is good and our family really enjoys it. The meat packs a punch in flavor (and I’m guessing protein, they’re quite filling). My kids are big eaters and yet rarely do they finish their meals. My husband who is a very tall, large man is full with a meal and an extra sandwich (and perhaps even without the extra sandwich). We pay about the same range as we would at similar places. Staff are friendly and surprisingly accurate (we’ve never had a wrong item and customized items are always on point). Overall we love it here.

If there is any complaint is about the infrastructure of the island ledge next to the drive thru. I once tried to pull out of the drive-thru to park in the parking lot next to it and drove over a ledge that pulls out way too far. Today another car in front of us did the same. By the looks of the many scratches and tire marks, I am guessing lots of back bumpers and tires have gotten damaged while pulling out. Please fix this!

Apart from this, we have only had very satisfactory experiences here. Thank you for great service and yummy food!

Freddy's makes a mean burger! Yum! The California Style is perfection. Love how they use plenty of cheese, how the meat isn't too dry, but how the burgers still feel kinda fresh and don't make you feel like you're super bogged down after eating. Their fries are tasty too, although I kinda wish they weren't shoestring style. Don't forget to ask for fry sauce, btw!

This location in particular is always hopping with a long line of people in the drive-thru wanting to eat their food. People LOVE this place.

If you're like me and get suspicious of places that seem abandoned by customers, that's good to know, hahaha.

Freddy's never ceases to amaze me with the awesome Turtles. Employees are very helpful and polite. Gave discount on Veterans Day, nice touch.

Oh my gosh I had the best burger here...pink inside and so juicy! Yum! The fries were phenomenal as usual, thin,crispy and delicious. I got the combo and upgraded my drink to the concrete. Chocolate ice cream with Reese's pb cups...my fav!

I ordered a chocolate custard with hot fudge sauce for my wife who had her wisdom teeth taken out today. Unfortunately I realized when they gave me a vanilla custard that I had accidentally ordered vanilla. The employee working the window told their team to make a chocolate custard with hot fudge sauce “stat” and gave it to me for free! What a blessing and a great way to treat customers and get them to return!

The food was very tasty, fresh, and well prepared in a timely manner. The service was great and my whole dining experience was 5 star.

Freddie's heavenly

Oh boy, where do I even start with Freddie's hamburgers? Let me just say that I had a burger there the other day and it was so good, I think I heard angels singing as I took my first bite.

The patty was juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were so fresh that I almost felt like I was eating a salad (but with all the deliciousness of a burger, of course). And the bun? Let's just say it was so soft and fluffy, it made me want to take a nap on it.

But what really made my experience at Freddie's hamburgers special was the service. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like I was eating at a friend's house (a friend who happens to make amazing burgers, that is).

All in all, if you're looking for a burger joint that will make you feel like you've died and gone to burger heaven, Freddie's hamburgers is the place to be. Just be sure to bring a bib, because you're going to need it!

We went through the drive-thru on Shawnee Mission Parkway on 6/22/23 at 7:00 p.m. The lady on the drive-thru was excellent. The food was delicious and there was almost no waiting for it. Even the gentleman on the window who gave us the food was fast and very competent. This is what a drive-thru experience should be!

I LOVE FREDDY'S STEAK BURGERS!! So good, always, never have a complaint. This visit, we went through the drive thru, and we have the same level of service at the drive thru as a dine-in customer. Hubby got the chocolate peppermint shake which is fantastic. I'll have to go back for my own, without mister.

I came in almost al closing. The staff were attentive, kind and very understanding. I felt badly about arrive so late but after working 10 hours and wanting to enjoy a delicious meal, this crew most impressive! Thank you to the crew at this location!!

French fries were cold, and the sandwich was very good. Staff was playing around in the back wemgen tables should have been cleaned off.

Yes I'm giving Freddy's Frozen Custard 5 stars! The food was spot on what we expected, meaning we went in with high expectations. We were not disappointed, our burgers had flavor and the fries were crisp! We ordered two kind of burgers and two kind of fries, regular and chili cheese fries along with a kids meal. I should state that the portions are huge and if we had known this going in we probably wouldn't have ordered a third set of fries since the kids meal includes fries and a drink. We munched right in and finished every single bit of our chili cheese fries. There burgers were savoring and fresh! The lady upfront was kind and definitely adding to our experience since we were first timers and took a little bit longer to order. The desert was also great! Cant wait to eat here again.

The steakburgers are awesome. Onion rings are crispy and perfect and I love the sauces. Especially the jalepeno fry sauce. Shakes are great too. Staff was friendly. Place was clean.

It's a Freddy's, you know it's good food. The workers seemed a little less than enthused to be there, understandable for being a fast food joint but regardless a happy face is always appreciated. Clean and prompt.

Stopped in for a bio break and cheese curds. My order was hot, but a overly seasoned so couldn't finish. Staff was good, and Freddy's thoughtfully provided a sign board at the entrance to let you know they were training (this location is fairly new). Bathroom was clean and well stocked.

I absolutely LOOOVE this place!!! Their chese curds are sooo good! Their shakes are honestly probably my favorite shake around. Sometimes there is a wait time. But the food is cooked fresh and in my opinion definitely worth the wait. Their burgers are so good too! Highly recommend this place!!
