Big Tool Store

I’ve purchased several larger tools and a handful of smaller items. The staff is knowledgeable and was extremely helpful in finding everything I needed. There are a number of corporate options closer, but I make the hour and twenty minute drive to the Big Tool Store. Quality, great selection, and good help.

This store is the Bomb! Whatever you need, you can find it here. Specialty tool, big truck tools, tires for lawn mowers or trailers, wrenches, welding equipment, electrical tools, carpentry tools, huge selection of router bits, all kinds and brands of tools. Worth the trip!

Excellent in-house tool warranty work! Big Tool Store can be pretty pricy, I feel that price difference contributes toward possible tool issues. If you purchase a tool from Big Tool Store and have problems, take the tool and original receipt back to get assiatance. They back all their tools, and will help with a resolution with the manufacturer.

The store has the largest collection of tools i have ever seen in one place. Amazon's got nothing on this place. The store has a ample number if very helpful employees who do not hesitate to give you whatever time you need. If it is not a brand associated specifically with another (chain) store then they most likely have it or can get it. I won't post any pictures because it might ruin your initial visit. GO THERE AND CHECK IT OUT!

I went in to get a tool for my angle grinder and was asked if I needed help finding anything quite often. Customer service is great and they've got just about every tool you'd ever need. I'll be back!

Found some really good deals on tools I've been wanting for a while. Well organized. Staff seemed nice.

What a place! The name don't lie! This is in fact one big tool store plus a storage unit facility, so its got that going for it as well. They have a pretty large assortment of hand tools, pretty much anything any DIYer might need, as well as a lot of obscure tools for a lot of those niche profession/trades. They have cheap brands of tools that are very affordable, plus they have some premium brands such as Milwaukee power tools and SK hand tools, and I'm sure they can order a large variety of stuff as needed. The customer service is very on point, and they will not leave you alone if you're just hanging out browsing the aisles. They had a fairly decent amount of automotive tools ranging from manual tire changing tools such as bead breakers and tire spoons, to specialty tools such as torsion bar unloaders, and pulley pullers. The prices weren't amazing but they weren't the worst either, you definitely get what you pay for here. I highly recommend any tool afficianado such as myself go check the big tool store out if you haven't already.

This is one of the coolest places I've ever been. The store totally reflects its name. It is a huge store full of every kind of too you can think of or will ever need.

My tools were stolen and went here to replace them off of a referral from my coworker. The store is way way wayyyyy bigger than I thought and full of all kinds of different tools. I had gotten help quickly and the manager offered to help ease the cost of replacing my stolen equipment. I didn’t even ask for that, I was honestly just bummed out and talking about a lousy day.

It’s always nice to catch a break, and I’m a customer for life now thanks to the kindness of the big tool store employees, and manager. Thank you.

An awesome wonderland for the man who loves tools!!! One of the jewels of the heartland. I have found no other store like it! Definitely worth your time and money! :-) Probably focused a little more on construction and woodworking but many many name brand tools for the mechanically inclined also... Straps, vices, hand tools, machining products to just scratch the surface!!

Amazing inventory with products available from the top of the line precision tools to affordable choices as well. The staff is never far away that can likely answer any question. They are however not right on top of you the whole time. The inventory is truly remarkable and I really enjoy browsing different solutions.

Best selection of tools in the area. Support your local business before ordering online. The knowledge employees have here is great, that's something you don't get buying from a computer screen. As a general contractor I buy a lot out tools. The Big Tool Store does NOT stock junk. Only quality tools.

Great selection of just about everything. Was introduced to their new mylar backed sandpaper, mean you have to cut it instead of just ripping!
