If you need transmission work done this is the place to go! The service, compassion, and explanation of what was happening with my 2012 GMC acaida was excellent! John is a true gem and he cares about his customers. While I hope I never need transmission work done again I know if I do I will be back to John's shop! Thank you again for your hard work! 🙏

John is truly one of the good guys. My Jeep's transmission had been acting up for a couple weeks. When I called John he was able to get me worked into his schedule within 10 days to try to diagnose the problem. The morning of the appointment he had opened the shop already so I was able to drop my Jeep off and get to work on time. He called me once he had completed everything that he could and was very apologetic that I would have to take it to the Jeep Dealership for further diagnostics. When I went to pickup my vehicle, John was so personable. When I asked what I owed him, he hadn't charged anything for his time. I walked out of the shop smiling. Companies like his are one in a million. I really appreciate that he isn't trying to take advantage of people. Like I said, one of the good ones. I would recommend his business to everyone!

Had John put a new transmission in my Ford Escape back in January. It’s July and not one issue. Great and trustworthy service! Top notch.

We were stranded on the interstate late at night. We found this shop and liked the reviews and they were not wrong! John, the owner, was so very nice, upfront and accommodating in every way. We had the truck towed late on a Monday night. Tuesday morning he checked and told us what it needed, gave us an estimate then got to work immediately. By Wednesday afternoon he had a remanned transmission installed and we were ready to head on home. The shop is very clean, neat and the quality of work and timely manner in which it was accomplished was amazing. We highly recommend this shop if you need transmission work!

Scheduled an appointment here to have my transmission fluid checked. Owner was super nice and even stayed late until 5:30 for me to pick up my car. He said my transmission fluid was good and didn’t even charge me a dime! He told me my engine was misfiring and told me to save my money and put it into that. I 100% recommend his services

Dropped off my vehicle to have what I thought was a transmission problem but John discovered it was my rear brakes causing my vehicle to lock up when placing in drive. Not like most places John did not perform any unnecessary repairs and upon pick up I was not charged for any testing or diagnostics. I appreciate the professionalism and awesome service received, I would highly recommend this shop.

This is a Certified Transmission affiliate, and I originally went here because I am military and Certified offers a 3 year, 100,000 mile warranty on their transmissions. So if something ever happens I want to be able to have my warranty honored wherever I am.

I will be coming back here because Mike offers great customer service and made it very easy on me, even when I did have issues when I was out of state (no fault of his own).

In addition, Stagg Hill's price for a remanufactured transmission installed was lower than the competition's rebuilt trans (you should look up the difference) by a couple hundred dollars AND the competition only offered a 12 month warranty.

I highly recommend this shop for your transmission work and will be coming back.

We've had several transmission replacements over the years and it's not cheap, regardless of where you have the work done. So why not have it done by somebody who stands by the quality of their work? We've lived all over the world and can honestly say that Stag Hill is the best transmission repair shop we've ever delt with. The gentleman expertly diagnosed our car and seemed to know what the problem was even before beginning the work. The job was completed in just a few days and their remanufactured transmissions come with one of the best warranties in the business (3 yrs/100,000 miles). He even fixed a separate problem that we thought was related to the transmission (but ended up not being related) for no extra charge. Friendly, professional and honest service!
