Madison Avenue Central Park

Great playground. Nice area. Pretty water fountains. Lots of nice families. Always has kids at it.

Had a great time with the kids and wife. It's a small park but cool for the kids to play and run off some energy. Had a great time.

My kids really enjoyed the park. Loved the soft flooring for them to run on. Happy there was a water fountain for them to use at their convenience.

Nice park that’s well kept with walking paths, clean bathrooms, and a fantastic playground. In fact, it’s one of the best playgrounds I’ve ever seen, since it’s inset, making it easy to look after smaller kiddos. I highly recommend this park! It’s great for a picnic with a few covered areas, a pavilion, event venue, and more. Check it out! It’s great!!

This park is fun and clean. It can get a little crowded due to it being a small park. There is a splash pad in the summer!! There are restrooms as well.

Such a fun place to take the kids! The fountains are almost always on, and the kids enjoy being able to run thru the water while also playing at the park. Sometimes, though, there is barely anything coming from the fountains. I think they either turn on the fountains or the waterfall, but not both. The waterfall is tons of fun, too! Be super careful down there, though, because it’s easy for the kids to get hurt. They close their eyes when going under the water, so it’s easy to run into each other or slip from the wet concrete. There needs to be shade down there because the benches get extremely hot.
The playground is absolutely amazing! There’s no shortage of interesting things for the kids! It’s almost a maze, and it works for literally any age. Lots of slides, rope walk, climbers, tunnels, and space to run around. There are a few benches around the outside, but it’s comfortable enough to just sit on the turf because it doesn’t get hot.
The swings are great because they’re large enough to fit a few kids at once, and they’re different than other parks. It keeps things interesting!
The one complaint I have with this place is that there are several openings built into the playground where the younger kids can get away from their parents. At least one leads directly into the main part of the parking lot. It’s a large area with the playground itself sitting lower than the main area, so it can take a while to run to the other side if the child happens to walk out of the playground and continue into the parking lot. It’s also easy to lose sight of the child if they decide to walk along the lower rock wall where the waterfall is.

It was a very nice place for a wedding. The park looked fun and there were several parents with their children there having a good time.

Amazing park, so much to explore and play on in a compact area. Artificially turfed grass covers the play area and there is a rocking like boat with additional seating that is quite nice. The walking trail around the park is pretty nice as well. The turtle swings were a hit! Good family fun and tons of vitamin d... will definitely be back to play some more in the future.

Great place for the kids to play! I took my 5 and 3 year old here and they loved it.

This is a uniquely designed park located in the heart of Derby. It is sleek and well designed. They have brand new swings that you can lay down on and climbing areas. The kids like the splash park, especially at night. They want to spend hours there! They have a nice sitting area for adults and a huge chess playing game. This is one of the nicest kids’ park I have been too! They also have two venues that can be rented out. They host a spring art market and a Christmas lighting ceremony for the town.

This is an amazing park. There is something each kid will like. It will keep them occupied for at least an hour maybe two. We go every time we are in the area. It's great for children with sensory issues- so many textures!!

Beautiful park. Great atmosphere. Playground well kept up on lots of fun things to do. You can rent the pavilion which is a nice indoor facility right in the park. Love this place. We had my kiddos birthday here and she had a blast.

Beautiful quaint park! Lots of paths for walking and very fun play area for kids to play, with tables to eat at for picnics. The only negative is that it can be quite crowded because of the popularity.

Without a doubt, it is one of the most comfortable, new, different and really beautiful parks in all the surroundings.

Fun little park with a splash pad right next to it. (A lot of the kids were going from the splash pad to the playground back and forth so just be ready for some of the slides/walkways to be wet.)

Good place to take kids. Clean Playground that's unique. Clean bathrooms. Splash pad. Giant Chest Board. Clean tables for picnics. And Dog Friendly, lots of space. But no fences with roads surrounding.

My family truly enjoys this park. It has so many options of things to do and keep the kids moving and entertained. Derby is doing amazing things with their parks!!

I live right down the street and watched this park blossom from an empty field into what it is now. My daughter says this is the "funnist" park in Derby. Seems like even the teenagers respect this beautiful part and usually leave all the equipment to the younger kids.
