The Venue at Madison Avenue Central Park

Dawn was our point of contact for The Venue at Madison Central Park and she was amazing! She was extremely communicative over e-mail. In the months/weeks leading up to the wedding day we were able to access the venue whenever we needed or whenever one of our vendors needed to do a walk through.

It checked nearly all of the boxes for us.

- 400 guest capacity.
- Had the option for us to rent from the Friday night before the wedding.
- Location was ideal for us since it was less than 10 minutes away from our house (this came in clutch when we had to make multiple trips back and forth during setup).
- Freedom to bring in our own vendors.
- We had kids at our wedding so the playground was great.

We brought in Le Luci Lighting to install all of our lighting, especially the dance floor lighting. It was the first time they did an installation like this and this space is so great, there's so much room to transform the venue into your dream wedding.

Central Park is at the end of our street. Not only is it beautiful at Christmas, but also fun year round. It is the most well-maintained park in Derby.

The casino did a family picnic there. It was alot of fun. The facilities are clean and nice. We had a great time. The kids loved playing in the water and at the park! A great fun day!

A great park for the kids, the Pavillion is perfect for weddings and the Venue is a perfect meeting space for almost any event.

We often take our picnic lunch there and enjoy the pavilion, walk ways, and the view.

Spend time at this park on the regular with the kids for hours at a time. Everyone seems really pleased with park and keeps it cleaned up and the restrooms are also nice and clean. It is a favorite park on our list because of the layout, artwork on the walls, lots of space to play around the equipment that is in a designated area.

Well thought out design. Multiple areas for a multitude of activities. Seems well maintained. Children's play area is great. Only concern is it's built up to a fairly high slope that does not have a stairway. Must walk all the way around to the lower level. Only one way in and out. These days two exits are safer. New to this town and excited for the tree lighting!

A great park in the center of Derby. There is a water wall, carpeted playground and activities that are accessible to all. There is a walking path with a bridge and a small amphitheater for performing. The Derby Christmas tree is in this park every year.

Really nice park. The equipment and surrounding areas were nice and clean and safe for children and animals. Had a wonderful time here with my child and dog. Didn't have yo worry that my child was going to see or touch anything that wasn't suppose to be there.

Lots of different areas to climb and play safely for my toddler!

I love taking my kids to this park! They love it and get so excited each time it never gets old! Love the environment it is hard for a child to get hurt here since they dont have real grass in the area where the kids play. Wish they had this park when i was little!

Pretty cool park my son really enjoyed it, the water part is on a higher up level so you really have to keep a eye on the little ones it's only a slide away from where you wont be able to see them other then that great park!

We just got married in the pavilion and had our reception in the venue and it was so beautiful! Cori was very easy to coordinate with! The kids loved the lofted portion where they could play yard games! The loft also made for amazing pictures and extra seating! Highly recommend Madison Avenue Park for wedding and or reception!

Hosted a bridal shower in the salon room and it was absolutely adorable and a perfect little room for a party of 20-30 people. We enjoyed our time there. The reservation process ran smoothly and it was exciting to use this venue when it was brand new to the area!

Pretty cool and unique park. Had a blast taking my niece and nephews there. Great little spot for family time. I highly recommend.

DJ'd a friend's wedding reception at The Venue last night. Nice place that provided a nice environment for the reception. Plenty of outlets all along the walls. Good kitchen area for food prep. Nice bathrooms. Good control on the house lighting. Would recommend for any celebration.

Nice splash park, great location. Love walking the dogs here. Poop bags provided. Little waterfalls for them to walk under if hot.

Have been to multiple events here and even used it for a personal event. Everything is well maintained and the building a property are gorgeous. The City of Derby does a great job maintaining The Venue and the park!!

Great venue in Derby, the awesome Derby dream team meat here every thursday at 8:30 am great networking group. I enjoy visiting this venue. It is well laid out, they have two seperate buildings available. Its a great resource for groups and business owners in the Derby area. Always clean and tied well maintained, lots of great parking.
