Best Western Plus Midwest Inn & Suites

Hands down one of the cleanest and best hotels we have stayed in this past year. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. They had eggs, bacon, cereal, lots of different donuts and yogurt and my favorite, biscuits and gravy. Mmmmmmm good..

I have stayed here several times while traveling with my dog from Colorado to Ohio and have always had a great experience. The staff is always so kind to both me and my dog, who is a sweet pit bull. The rooms are clean and there’s free breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much to the staff. You’re all so great and we appreciate you.

Was in a bad situation and needed a place to stay for a little over a week. The staff here was wonderful the rooms are clean the hotel was quiet and for the price was by far the best option. Highly recommend people to stay here!

Best hotel customer service my wife and I have ever experienced in a lifetime of travel around the world. Kamden Lainer, general manager, and his staff of Sarah, Jessica, Jo, and others treated us like royalty, and like family. Our grandson celebrating his 7th birthday with us will never forget his very, very happy stay in this hotel, nor will we.

The terrific hotel breakfast included scrambled eggs made from real eggs, oatmeal already perfectly prepared, choices of meat, waffle maker, really really great topping bar with fresh fruit and various nuts, selection of multiple brands of great yogurt, real Kellogg cereal, and good coffee. Who could ask for anything more?!

The slide into the pool was all the children wanted in the evening. The right sliding technique resulted in plenty of speed.

We give this hotel our highest recommendation and look forward to returning.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our way to CO and everything was great for us. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The parking lot was well lit and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was awesome as well! They had a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and then your typical danishes, juice and coffee. All in all it was a great stay and we were very surprised.

This Best Western is a cut above the rest! We stay at Best Western's often because they are consistently clean, comfortable, and affordable, yet this one exceeded our expectations. This location, right off I-35 and near I-70 , was very convenient, yet with no highway noise. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. We felt valued and appreciated. Our room was updated and comfortable. The breakfast variety and quality were superior to any other Best Western we have stayed at, and the hostess obviously took pride in her service. In addition, there are dozens are dining options within 1-2 miles of the hotel along with a couple parks and walking paths. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Great hotel for a reasonable price!
The service at the hotel was outstanding. The staff take great pride in their work. The lobby was festively decorated. Staff provided extra effort to ensure the pool was at an ideal temperature for guests. The heated pool was clean great for all ages. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and waterslide! The suite room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast featured some premium options! We’d definitely recommend this hotel!

The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent with everything you need within a minute or two.

This motel took us in when my reservation at another did not have a handicapped room as reserved. This handicapped room with a roll in shower was required with a wheelchair. Room was large enough to accomodate the wheelchair and get around. Breakfast was great with a good selection. Staff was helpful. After a doctor appointment and out patient surgery we needed a place to stay and this was perfect. Parking super. Location was close to restaurants, etc.

The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very nice. The room was clean, and there was plenty of towels. The lobby was very clean and they had a scented candle or something, so you are hit with good smells as soon as you walk in the hotel.

We were displaced by a house fire, lost everything. We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and the staff has been more than accommodating. I recommend this hotel.

I got exactly what I expected.. clean room. Free parking. Great breakfast. AC that works. Hot shower. Super friendly workers at the hotel. Solid place to stay I'm Salina. Only con: water pressure is meh in the shower.
Bonus: the water slide!!!

I travel a lot, and stay at a variety of levels hotels, from small town motels, to 5 star, all inclusive, hotels. The thing that makes the biggest difference in the quality of those stays, is the quality of the staff. I have to say, that this hotel rates with some of the most expensive hotels that I have stayed at, when it comes to the staff. The GM, Kamden Lainey, went above and beyond to make my stay a priority to him. From making sure I had parking for my oversized truck, to letting me check in a little early to get some much needed rest. Even though it was evident they were clearly understaffed, like many businesses are currently facing, every one of his staff made it very clear that they were there to make this my best stay possible. Keep up the great work, you folks are definitely a shining star in the Best Western Family, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Salina or the surrounding area. Great Work Team!

I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt it was necessary. I was on day 10 of a long distance motorcycle ride, I was exhausted and it was 11pm when I arrived at the best western. I checked in (the lady was super nice) and went to my room. The room was in very bad shape but I was too tired to do anything about it. When I checked out at 7am the Manger On Duty asked how the room was. I said I don't usually complain but there were a few things wrong with the room. The Manger asked me what room I was in, when I told her the room number she stated the computers were down the night before and the room I was in should have never been rented out. The manager apologized several times and gave me a full refund. The Manger explained to me that a new owner had just acquired the propriety and she was helping get the hotel back in shape. I would stay here again just because of the hard work they are doing to clean up this hotel. I was not or would I have ever asked for a refund. Once the new owner gets all the rooms cleaned up this will be a great place to stop and get some rest. Thank you again for the refund. I hope to see you next year on my next adventure.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family and it was an overall great experience. The staff were really helpful and breakfast was hot, plentiful, and appealing. Love their coffee. My daughter and I had a great time at the pool. Pet friendly with a dog walk area complete with waste disposal bags and a can to discard them in. All in all a really good value considering all the amenities. We will be staying here again in the future.

Check in close to 10pm the lady at the desk was very helpful and nice, got us a good rate for over night, I chose this hotel because the outside lighting was very good. The room was very nice and clean, and Vicki that did the breakfast was outstanding we compared her breakfast to a 4 star hotel, best hotel we ever stayed in thank you.

Very clean and affordable, a real value.
Judging by the giggling and laughing the pool is a big hit with the kids - it has a nice water slide. The exercise room was well kept and the equipment was in excellent condition.
Coffee, Iced tea and ice water are available all the time in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent.
The staff is friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in the quality of your stay.
I will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We all enjoyed the pool and the slide, the water was pretty chilly but you quickly get over that! Our 5 year old really loved the slide and pool so much she wants to stay more often! The only down fall I have to mention is the toilet in our room was always slow going down (we didn’t know if they all were like that or just ours for whatever reason) otherwise the room was very clean! Comfortable beds and homey feeling! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Well first of all, the place looks inviting with the drink set up, the staff was pleasant and they smiled. Looked professional, took pride. The rooms are classy with some really cool modern furniture and the lamps were unique. The counter tops were of marble look. Whether it was is not for me to know but looks very nice, dark wood of nice glow, and tile is clean. And importantly, the scent is pleasant, bedding smells nice and clean and towels etc.. look nice. Enjoyed it very much
