For the first time in years I actually walked out of getting a haircut and DIDN’T say “well it’ll grow out eventually”. Took my daughter and I both to get our hair cut after a solid 2 years of not cutting it as we kept having really poor luck finding someone who can cut our hair properly. We absolutely both loved our cuts. My daughter for the first time ever left happy and excited about her haircut and was showing it off to all her friends. I’ve never seen her so happy with a cut! The stylist was so friendly and fun and the salon was very boho goth glam and we totally loved it. We will continue to go back for as long as they are open!

Left a voicemail one evening after too many seltzers threatening to cut my own hair (because we all TRY to trim it up sometimes) and got a call the next morning. Kristin is the best. I feel like I can describe my haircut as an emotion and she would nail it straight on.

Jen does an amazing job on my hair, she always goes above and beyond to take care if me. Superb customer service! I sent a coworker in to see her and she also came back more than satisfied and bragging to the rest of our coworkers about where she'd gotten her hair done! Absolutely spectacular!

I moved here from out of state and was looking for a new "go-to" stylist. I made an appointment to get my hair cut and colored on my birthday hoping I finally found my new hair place (some people say I'm particular about my hair) and was not disappointed. The ladies working were very nice, answered any questions I had and gave helpful suggestions when I was still uncertain. When the stylist was done I had the exact cut I wanted and my hair was a beautiful mix of purple and deep pinks. I love it!

Jen does a great job cutting my hair! I have been there 3 or 4 times. She is very thorough and takes her time, very easy to talk to as well. And she doesn't charge you an arm and leg for hair cut. Very good price !

I've been going here for at least a few years now, heard of them from a mutual friend who I trust, and now that my mom lives near me I take her so we see Jen & Melissa! My mom couldn't be happier with the way Melissa cuts her hair, and my mom isn't easy to please! :) I've loved every cut Jen has given me, along with color or highlights, and it's PERFECT every time!!! It's been years, like maybe 25, since I had a stylist that I liked enough to only go to them, the rest of the time I'd just pop into a place and take whoever was available, but since finding Jennifer I only strayed once for an emergency trim because she was on maternity leave and I had an event to go to & it was last-minute. Other than that, I'll never go anywhere again, even though it's a bit of a drive for me to get there! They are both AWESOME!!!

This is the best place to get your hair done at. It's very good services. They do a great job. I've been going to them for a long time. so trust me I know I know what I'm talking about. And my mom going there too she loves it there. And they did my hair for my wedding last September and my sister's and my mom's too. They did a great job on it.

Shoutout to Alexis at The Butcher Shop. She was great to work with, I showed her some photos of the cuts I liked and she helped me figure out what would work with my hair specifically. She took extra time on my “problem” spots (thanks thick hair) and helped tame the hair issues I’ve been dealing with. Such a fabulous cut and affordable too! I like this haircut 10x more than my last haircut from a much more expensive salon. Thanks Alexis!

I can't recommend this place enough. Jen's been cutting my hair for about 3 years now and she's freakin awesome. Always makes time to fit me in her schedule even if I might be her last cut for the day. I make the drive from north Wichita all the way to Derby, through suck ass traffic, twice a month , because that's how good she is. Give her shop a shot and I bet you'll become a regular.

I am so glad I found this salon! I absolutely love it here and feel I can be 100% authentic and myself. They are always laughing and having fun and I have never felt uncomfortable or out of place.

This is a reasonably priced full service salon. The stylists are a lot of fun, great conversationalists, and great at their professions. The parking lot is a little narrow, but drive on down there is always parking. There is a reward punch card system so that after so many visits you can earn a free haircut. Jenn, the owner, is a sweetheart and really cares about customer satisfaction. They cut all hair: Men's, children's, etc. If you're tired of high Wichita prices, then you need to drive to Derby and see what you've been missing.

Love Jen, she's one of those stylists that can actually make your hair LOOK like the picture you show her (and sometimes tell you that the thing you picked won't flatter you!), or she can just look at you and "Edward Scissorshands" you and you walk out looking great! Great atmosphere and low prices will keep you coming back!

Came in with no style plus wanted beard shaped as well. Rigo did an awesome job finally got a style and beard done that fits me. He is definitely going to be the one I use from now on everyone else butchered my hair and beard.

I love the butcher shop! I been going there ever since they have opened. After getting the worst hair cut of my life at a different salon, I found the owner this shop before they opened. She fixed my hair disaster and made it look gorgeous. I always trust that my hair will turn out lovely. I would highly recommend this salon!

I have been coming here for over a year now. I tried 4 other salons before finding this place . I won't go anywhere else now. Jen colors my hair and cuts it perfectly every time and I love it.

The best place to get a Military Hair in Wichita area! Funny, knowledgeable, & relaxed staff and great atmosphere. Ten minutes tops in and out. Jen knows what she is doing!
