New Mexico Fabrics and Foam

Love this place. Fair prices, great staff, and beautiful upholstery fabrics. I go two hours out of my way when traveling to NM just to go to NM Fabrics!

As a complete novice to upholstery, I went into NM Fabrics and Foam with a photo of my dining chairs and many questions. After more than an hour of advice, estimated measurements and lots of patience, I left with bolts of fabric and hope. A year later, I'm now working on my project and find I need a little more. Again my problem has been met with a helpful Caroline to try to find my fabric match. Thank you for being a business that cares about the customer, regardless of the size of the project 😊

I wanted to make a cushion for a chair, so I went to New Mexico Fabric and Foam for the materials. Robert was so helpful! He brought out several types of foam rubber for me to try out. Then he offered to have it cut right away to match my template, which was pretty complicated with some of the sides at an angle. He handed me a set of a hundred or so upholstery fabric samples. He said they had most of them in stock. I picked out several samples that I liked and he brought out the bolts so I could see what a big piece looked like. He even gave me a zipper. He and the man who cut the foam couldn’t have been nicer. I’m tickled pink with the way my cushion turned out.

I went in on Wednesday seeking advice on replacement cushions for my dining room table. Josh was extremely helpful and told me what I needed. He was personable, efficient, and professional. I came back an hour later with the templates and he turned around the project in less than 24 hours. Every person I came in contact with so so extremely helpful, Josh even recommended me to Gonzales upholstery to have one of my seats redone in my vehicle.

I love these guys! As an artist and interior decorator, this is my go to place for foam, upholstery tacks, vinyl and unique upholstery materials. Their prices are fair and selection is good. Customer service is friendly and they aren't bothered by questions. Highly recommend!

Great selection but more important to me was the amazing help we received. Super friendly, very helpful, nonjudgmental, funny, and great with my kids. I will definitely be back any time I need fabric!

I walked in about an hour before they closed. I needed some foam for my Wife's wheelchair cushion. They suggested some materials and I walked out with a custom cushion within an hour. They were greatly helpful.

I needed 4" foam. They brought out their options for me to try out. Cut it for me and it was $90. The same amount of foam from Joan fabrics was going to be $270. I cannot recommend this shop more.

I have utilized this business twice now for projects and I can tell you that they are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of foam and upholstery, and can guide you in choosing the correct one. I have no need to go elsewhere and will be going back for more project needs.

I'm refoaming an old car seat. They gave me great instructions and advice, as well as selling me exactly what I needed. Highly recommend New Mexico Fabrics and Foam. Great customer service and products!

Spent way to long trying to find some fabric and foam for an ottoman at other stores. I walked in and walked out maybe 15 minutes later with everything I wanted and more. The next day I realized I measured wrong and bought to much foam. They cut it down for me no problem. Super courteous definitely have a customer for life.

Having new foam cushions made for my couch was the best thing I could've done. I didn't need a couch just new cushions. The staff at NMFF was so friendly & helpful. I'm definately spreading the word about this place. Thank you, I'm so satisfied with my new cushions.

I needed a spring for a La-Z-Boy recliner that the La-Z-Boy distributor couldn’t get anymore. Someone recommended R&R Trim, and they were fast, knowledgeable, friendly, and had just what I needed.
