An okay small town bank. Limited transaction capabilities. Limited hours. Below average website and online banking. To access online lots of cumbersome security. We moved most of our accounts to Verus Bank in Derby, KS and Wells Fargo in Wichita. But because of a business relationship we kept one small checking account there that gets regular ETF deposits of day 5k year. BUT the bank called today and said because we spent the account to zero Thursday night (buying stuff for people in need) they closed the account on Friday! Ha! This is the 2nd time it’s happened. The first was when I paid bills and made a donation teo days before a major deposit. So they explained that they generally will close your account if you spend all your money, they don’t look at the reoccurring deposits, and you need to ask them to check a box in their system to NOT CLOSE the account even if you have more deposits coming.Awesome! So yes, we said go ahead and keep it closed and will transfer to Verus or Wells Fargo who amazingly dot call to say “we closed your account” rather they say “how we can we get more of your business or your work accounts or your investment accounts or your... Amazing! If you are in Derby go to Verus Bank where they give great service, want your business, volunteer massively for the school and financially support the kids and in Derby schools.
