Rest Area Camp & BBQ Grills

Absolutely great place to take a break or even sleep.
If you drive off the main area parking onto the side roads you will find wooded picnic campsites absolutely beautiful and secluded.

Neat hidden place

This spot served its purpose well. Free camping while driving cross country, you can’t beat that. There was some trash at the camp site and it was a little noisy from the highway traffic but that is expected. We will definitely stay here again.

Camping area blocked off, seems to be closed. Guess the bums messed it up. I used to stay here on my annual trip home, haven't been here since COVID started, so was disappointed to find the access blocked off. Otherwise all good, staying in a parking spot instead

Good area to stop on 70 for a wick nap. The one campground site had quite a bit of trash in it but the rest was clean!

Nice place. Hope it looks better when the grass is green. I was there in January.

Cool idea, but too much highway noise.
Bathrooms were creepy and not clean.
Also people need to drive slower through there, almost got hit by several cars crossing from the rv parking.

I went down to stay in the camp area but ended up sleeping in my van by the bathrooms because it was nasty. Used paper towels all over the place from someone wiping their self. Loud as heck noises coming from the critters in the trees.
