Cody's Bait and Tackle

Had the most amazing day with my 12 year old son today! Went out with Colton a guided blue cat fishing trip and we slammed em! We caught them and they were cleaned by Cody by noon! Definitely worth a trip! Thanks again Cody!

Cody was fantastic. He knows lake well and where to find the fish. He was patient with all our crossed lines and fast getting them untangled and reset. He answered the miillion questions my son had. Cut meat up beautifully for us to take home. True professional guide. Highly recommend.

Nice assortment of fishing gear at reasonable prices. The location is handy and Cody has the specialized gear you need for that area. Cody and staff were very friendly and helpful. They don’t sell fishing licenses so you have to go on line for that, just so you know. We will be looking at Cody as a guide for our next fishing trip.

Minnows are priced Right and I've never had an issue with them dying on me.

You can buy hooks and weights in bulk here as well which is nice for bottom rigging on the fast water side of bledsoe.

We came from Nebraska to snag spoonbill. Brought my two teenagers with. We were having trouble with our gear and our methods. Each time (twice) we stopped in he gives us advice and sold (low pressure) gear to us and we caught fish. All three of us caught nice paddle fish. We have 8 gallons of meat to go home with. If your looking for a local guide or a friendly place to gear up, this is it. Wait to buy gear till you get to Cody's. It will save ya money in the long run.
