Had a great walk with my kids looking for squirrels. Lots of overarching trees and beautiful rock formations. The picnic area was very nice in a scenic meadow with lots of barbecue grills.

Great natural dirt trail. So much to see around every corner. Beautiful hike! Trail was a little tricky in a few areas. A few good inclines with path switching back and forth. Had to cross over the creek in an area but rocks were placed to help. Hiking stick or poles may be helpful on this trail. Scenery was amazing and so peaceful along this trail.

Had a wonderfully peaceful and quiet Memorial Day Weekend camping at Bluffwoods CA! We were the only campers so the aussies loved the large (well maintained) grass area to play frisbee and soccer. The grass was recently mowed and even after all of the rain for 4 days before going, it wasn’t muddy at all. There were several (5-8) primitive rock fire rings and lots of well spaced trees for shade and hammocking! Bring your own privy :)

We had a great time surrounded by nature!! Not for the novice hiker. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, the trail is not always cleared & watch your steps. There are markers on the trail to let you know you're on the right path.

Trail A was marked with a RED blaze. At the top of the bluff there was a Trail B (we didn't take it, being our first time there, no map and it almost sunset) which seemed to be a spur that would reconnect with Trail A.
There was a couple of spots where the trail crosses the creek. Depending on when you come, quality hiking boots/waterproof boots would be highly recommended.
There is picnicking & basic camping areas. A privy, that has seen better days, is your only option for a bathroom. Bring your own toilet paper and soap.

There are a number of trails and parking places, (even overnight camping in designated spots) to go and enjoy a few hours in nature. Always been a family retreat for picnics. Looks great this time of year with all the fresh foliage.

Wonderful nature area. Hiking trails are well built. Trees laid across the trails at a few points, but we were still able to negotiate our way with 2 young kids. Gravel roads around this area are well maintained and should be accessible to all but the least-capable vehicles, unless wet weather is involved. The large clearing at the entrance is a great spot to throw a frisbee.

Had fun with our 2 boys hiking the A loop trail. Beautiful hike about 1 1/2 mile loop through the bluffs. There is a cool open area for picnicking and pitching a tent, may be back in the spring to camp!

This is a hidden treasure...either folks don't know about it or they've moved on to other hiking locations. It's a perfect hike for folks with difficulty handling terrain as the elevation is there, but slight and it is all paved. Beautiful, peaceful and overall great place to catch a quick hike.

This is a fun place to hike, camp, and explore. They is a nice paved trail that is handicap accessible too.

It seems like one of those hidden gems that you don't want too many people to find out about, but you want enough people to use to justify the upkeep.

A nice area to get away. This area sees quite a bit of activity due to it being close to a few towns, but it is kept up nicely. There are lots of options for things to do; camping, hiking, bird watching, hunting, etc. Since it is a public area, just be mindful that others use the area as well and clean up after yourself.

Trails sometimes arent easy to follow because they're poorly marked. But it's beautiful in there.

Great paved trail. About a mile, takes us about 30 minutes. The lower loop would be great for taking kids to ride their bikes. No cell service up there.

Except for this population of mosquitoes, Bluff is my favorite place to meditate, take photos, walk and explore. It's beautiful all year round, and so peaceful. Everyone should go!

This isn't a casual walk up a trail. Take hiking poles with you. Very wooded, not a lot of vistas. Still a very nice challenge.

A beautiful hiking area with very scenic views and drives. So much old growth forest, a truly spectacular ecosystem to observe.

Great walking trail that is smooth enough for seniors and places to sit down. Great place to take the kids and let them get out of the norm of town.

Been enjoying these Bluffs for years. Can't wait til my boys get older and get the Mushroom Fever too and they get to do the walking and foraging for Me!

Beautiful area.... has bathrooms as well, and a paved path for those who want or need it. It could use signage to get to the area more easily
