McAlister's Deli

Wednesday about 2:30pm when we dropped in. The day manager Cindy Howard waited on us. Super friendly and nice. Food came out in a timely manner. Tasted great. Place was clean. We like McAlisters but the service isn’t always great (Primrose location in SGF is great too though.) We would definitely eat at this location again when in Nixa. Cost is a little high but where isn’t it high??? Honey BBQ sandwich is good!!

McAlister Deli in Nixa, Missouri. It's not exactly the kind of place I’d expect to find myself. After all it’s a sandwich shop in a strip mall in Nixa Missouri, but I'm here to tell you, it's worth a visit.

The Horseradish Roast Beef and Cheddar Sandwich is a thing of beauty. The roast beef is tender and juicy, the cheddar cheese is sharp and tangy, and the horseradish sauce has just the right amount of kick. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you want to moan with pleasure as you take each bite.

My wife Kimberly's favorite sandwich is the Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato with fresh Avocado slices. It's a simple sandwich, but it's done well. The bacon is crispy, the lettuce and tomato are fresh, and the avocado slices are perfectly ripe. It's the kind of sandwich that you could eat every day and never get tired of.

We both got a delicious glass of their famous sweet tea, which was refreshing and not too sweet. We were also served a pickle spear each, which was both crunchy and tangy and left me wanting more.

The service was fast and friendly. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. They took our order promptly and brought our food to our table in less than 10 minutes.

The atmosphere was cozy and casual. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The tables were spaced apart for social distancing. The decor is simple but inviting.

The price was a tad bit higher than I prefer to spend for a lunch time sandwich at $29 for two people. But there is no denying that the food is quite tasty.

In addition to their great sandwiches, McAlister Deli also has a wide variety of salads and soups. The Caesar Salad is made with romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, croutons, and a creamy Caesar dressing. It's the perfect way to start your meal. The Chicken Noodle Soup is made with chicken, noodles, vegetables, and a flavorful broth. It's the perfect comfort food on a cold day.

We left McAlister’s Deli feeling full and happy. We had both enjoyed a delicious meal in a pleasant environment with great service.

If you’re looking for a place to get a satisfying sandwich in Nixa, Missouri, I highly recommend McAlister’s Deli.

But don’t take my word for it. Go and try it for yourself.

Great Service and very clean. Great potato salad and tea. I got the Spicy Southwest Chicken and it was great! Next time I go here I'll probably get something else, though ^^

I think the Choose 2 was a good value. Less than $10 and the half chef salad was very decent sized and the club sandwich was delicious and not small!

it was super clean in there! no tables left unbussed and the manager was amazing! its not everyday that you go into the restaurant during a rush and its super clean, food comes out fast, and the manager is even helping buss tables. not to mention the food was absolutely amazing! definitely will be coming back!

Had a great lunch while sitting outside on a beautiful day. Lunch was a cup of brocolli cheese soup and 1/2 of a turkey sandwich. Both tastes great. Service was wonderful, quick and polite. The manager even checked in those sitting outside. One of my favorite lunch places.

Nice clean place in Nixa that is not too busy. It's expensive but at least the food is quality.

Clean, cozy environment. Staff was polite and we only waited about five minutes for our order even with it being busy at lunch time. The food and tea were delicious!

We had a takeout order and everything was perfect!

A few days ago I ordered on ubereats and forgot to put a note saying that I needed extra sour cream, so I called the store and this wonderful (I’m going to assume their gender just by the way they sounded, sorry) girl answered and made sure I had plenty of sour cream in my bag. She was very kind. I didn’t catch her name, but she was amazing. The food was great too!

Never disappointed at McAlister. From the sandwiches 🥪 to the spuds it's all good. Thier tea is perfect, not too sweet.

One of the best places to eat in Nixa at the moment. Very fresh, I’m grateful for the fast service also. Go here for the club & sweet tea, treat yourself its only a bit more pricey than the inedible fast food in town. Its worth it!!

Sweet tea. Yes. Wonderful! It’s so good their putting that stuff in ice cream! Honey mustard is wonderful. Cookies, great! Only critical thing I will say is bring back the chocolate lovin spoon cake!!

Absolutely delicious food. Me and my wife were tired of the same old same old and decided to give them a shot. It was well worth it! The flavors that hit your tongue are amazing!! The plating is spectacular, service was great. And you gotta try their sweet tea!! It's a nice strong tea with just the right amount of sugar. It doesn't look like a snow globe of undissolved sugar like other restaurants. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

The customer service at this McAlister's is outstanding. We placed an order online and when we got home we were missing a couple items. I called and the manager I talked to was superb. I think his name was Danny. He went above and beyond to fix the problem. Not only did he deliver the missing items, he gave a sincere apology. I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Good food even better customer service. Great Job

As always even with a pandemic this place continues with it's 5 star service. I loved their Lemonade tea?
Be aware that in the busiest time of day your waiting time is 30-45 minutes or longer weather dining in or take out. Also allow this time for Grub hub delivery. Yes the staff let's you know wait, after ordering. Hmm maybe put a sign by or on door alerting customers. On busy days I noticed it was hard to get a hold of staff for your refill of your favorite beverage or to ask questions. They are busy and don't have time to stop. This also was causing congestion at the counter.

Food is always good. Prices a bit high and portions a bit small. Staff could be a bit more attentive at counter but worth it knowing the food and drinks can be counted on. Oh-and when I was recovering from surgery, they let me order by phone and brought to my car so I didn't have to get out.
