Best local brewery and food. Their pizzas are the highlight of the menu. They are only open after 5pm so just dinner here. There is a large outdoor seating area. You can eat pizza and sample a few beers in a great atmosphere. The Margarita pizza and Cheese Louise are excellent and they have gluten free crust too!

My family ordered the pizza during our first trip here and I must say they were delicious!! I had the cauliflower crust and even my 2 year old gobbled it up. The wings are smoked, so they have a different flavor which I wasn't too crazy about but my husband appreciated them (he's not a wing guy either). The place has a great atmosphere and an awesome outdoor seating area.

This place is Boat Town Brewery’s next door neighbor and has great food. The menu rotates and updates frequently, so you always have the chance to have something new. The BBQ and burgers are really good, and the specialty salads are always interesting. There’s seating indoors, or you can go outside onto the shared patio and outdoor areas with Boat Town Brewery. Boondocks is kid friendly and fun.

Margarita Pizza and a side of Gouda Bacon Cheese Bites was totally amazing. The pizza was so inspiring.

I try to stop in when visiting Boat Town, which is on the adjoining property. Boondocks pizza is great and they have a detailed menu that lets you build your own pizza. We also had one of their weekend specials, the Blue Ox, a pizza with blue cheese on it. Love the crust too! Great place.

Me and my two other buddies I served with in the Marine visited recently. Carl and his wife were extremely welcoming. Great atmosphere, live music, yard games in the back. Great place.

We hope to bring Marines from 1st platoon Kilo Company 3rd battalion 5th Marines together using this place as a reunion spot. Thank you!

Man where to start... boondocks absolutely an amazing spot just out of the way I am happy to drive 42 minutes every other weekend to eat this decadent food, everything was done to perfection all the times I've been there its absolutely amazing service outstanding food really a cut above the rest, I have been from Chicago to New Albany Mississippi easily the best pizza that I've tasted 100% this is the perfect spot for the person who wants to chill out, relax and eat out, or for the person who wants a quick place to stop during a long drive, and finally its the perfect spot for any occasion the people here are as amazing as can be. I couldn't recommend this place any higher truly the few eateries in Missouri that provides amazing service and great food again cant recommend highly enough.

Truly a hidden gem, this restaurant is phenomenal. Some friends and I drove an hour from Springfield after seeing a review in a rural Missouri magazine. After trying almost everything on the menu, I can confidently say every person could enjoy a meal here. With health conscious and vegetarian options, traditional bbq and pizza choices for picky eaters, and wild foodie combos made just on the whim of the chef, it ticks all of the boxes. The atmosphere makes you want to stay and eat all day and night. Every person working is smiling, helpful, and beyond friendly. We didn't have a single thing we didn't love, so feel safe trying a bit of everything! Once you've ordered your food, walk across the gorgeous and inviting grounds for a phenomenal beer and continued friendly service. As a former restaurant owner, I'm the pickiest eater, and I couldn't find a single thing to gripe about!

Great food and an awesome friendly atmosphere. Inside and outside dining. 3 sets of Corn Hole Games. Great place to go with family or friends, or both. Sometimes, live music, or sometimes music jamming in the kitchen. Great holiday food themes. Nobody is a stranger. Nextdoor there is great verity of brews on tap, at the Boat Town Brewery. Take your food or drinks back and forth if you like. Great food!!! Good times!!!

What a place to go! If you like joking adound and having fun with good food and great company! Go here!! Out doors or inside the atmosphere is great, fire pits and cornhole AND music! This is our favorite summer hang out.

What a find. The pizza was excellent!!! The pulled pork sandwich was massive and fresh. You have to try the Mac and cheese bites. Don’t drive by this place if you’re on the highway, stop in and try it!!!

Had pizza and garlic bread, both were delicious. Look forward to going back and trying other meals. Tap house next door is very good as well.

A true Oasis of great beer, great food, great atmosphere, and even better people. Love bringing the whole family here, including our puppy.

This is one of the best locally owned restaurants along I-44!There pizza is good and so is there pulled pork. Definitely go there.

I love food and I can say Boondocks pizza is easily a top 3 in my book now on the other hand the wings are far and beyond the best smoked wings I have ever had
